Firstly I want to say a massive thankyou to the staff on the 5/1/18 everyone was very helpful , from getting me a high chair to helping me with the menu . I can only guess the lady on shift at around 12.30 was the manager or shift leader , she was so lovely .The cakes was out of order but she did offer a alternative .I asked her if she could take our plates because my baby was try to grab them and she stopped what she was doing to do so . Nothing was to much to ask from the staff and made mine and my babies day out amazing . The food was lovely just a lil to big for me but that’s just me . I had the big plate mix grill and the steak was cooked perfect .so yet again farmhouse you should be happy with your staff and please pass this on . Massive thankyou
Went down to Portsmouth on the Saturday for the great south run on the Sunday, went in to the The Farmhouse 1st time, really busy, staff very friendly food came quick, and when it came it looked amazing, tasted great would recommend thanks for the meal done personal best in the race, see you on our next visit to Portsmouth �
Always a 5 star rating, myself and family enjoy the warm welcome of staff, kind and friendly, the food is great and presented well, last 2 visits were served by Shanelle who is very polite mannered and Ray always attends to inquire satisfaction of his staff in the restaurant, which is always rated by us as satisfactory �
Used farm house again yesterday a few problems but the manager did the best she could to rectify the problems at an extremely busy time all good Thank you .

Been a few times now and have always had great food at great prices. Love the daily offers and staff very friendly. Very clean although i think the menus could do with a wipe over as a bit sticky. Will be back soon �

Came today 11/5/18 for the first time with a friend and my 4 year old daughter. The Macmillan event was on, all staff looked lovely and were very friendly my daughter enjoyed the play area and having glitter put on her face. The food was absolutely lovely.

Took my two youngest for a roast dinner, they loved it. Combined with a bit of time in the kids play area, it was a really enjoyable few hours. The staff, particularly in the play area were amazing, very friendly and even went on the slide with my youngest as he was scared. We’ll be going again 👍🏼
Thank you so much. We was visiting for 6 days, stayed in the hotel and every day visit the pub. Rooms are clean, every day service. Pub just superb, team very friendly, quick. Food absolutely delicious. Kids soft play at the same building, with stuff watching after your kids, when you having your meal and drink. Just left place today and very delightful that we choose that hotel and pub, very close to the sea as well. Definitely coming back again. Thank you.
The hotel was really nice and although the decor was a little tired it was not as bad as other reviews have said. The staff were fantastic and so helpful and the rooms were really nice and large.
The pub next door deserves a special mention as the staff were really accommodating and so helpful and made our evening fun and comfortable and went out of their way to get the rugby on a TV for us and kept us entertained

We went to the pub the food is normal pub grub. It's a great pub for family's there is the wacky wear house and they have tables with TVs or if you want a sociable dinner there is tables with out. There is a big free car park.
They also have a little pub garden with a climbing fram and slid of kids more for older kids.
One down side is the baby changing was closed so there was no baby changing but the staff where very helpful and let me use the hotels baby changing hopefully they will get this fixed soon maybe haveing a changing table in the main bathrooms for men and women.
Food was lovely, really good. We all enjoyed the meals, 2 staff who were on the floor( 1 male 1 female)worked really hard were friendly and helpful 😀 the rest just acted as if they didn't want to be there
The hotel was great, staff very attentive and helpful as you would expect.
The pub next door (HH) felt like it was being run by kids.
There is a Harvester a bit further down the road if you want better food and drinks.

Cons first, yes the decor is dated and could do with a little modernisation, for me a couple of usb sockets would make a world of difference situated near the bed ( only speaking for the room i was using) shower was a blast, plenty of of steaming water and good pressure, no air conditioning but a good fan provided.
PROS, A good sized room including decent size bathroom, huge mirror and space for your toiletries.
Nice King size bed and decent size tv screen, coffee and tea available in the room, free coffee at reception in the morning, bedding was clean, fresh towels every other day without requesting a room refresh. Beers and wine's available at Hotel reception, pleasant staff, FREE Parking was always Available even through the busy period, Hungry Horse Pub and Restaurant next door serving good food and beer at a fantastic price, the mixed grill was fab, especially the Grill offer offer day, premium beer and a full plate plate for circa £11! Come on.
No the Hotel is not the Ritz, the Pub Restaurant is not some classy joint in Mayfair, but both are Value for money in my opinion, and if you're looking for a bit more than your copy paste budget hotel and breakfast in a box, then give this place a try.

Been a while since visiting, was very pleased to see Robyn serving only upsetting thing was she was on the bar and not in the wacky so the kids were sad about that. We had a nice catch up and she helped me out by getting me the best deal possible still a delight after all this time.
Stayed here with my girlfriend for a wedding reception a while back, absolutely loved it, friendly staff, good food, good room service and room quality, bravo👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This was our first time eating her. We popped in on the off chance we could get a table as it was Mother's Day. We could see it was busy and all the tables had reserved on them. We were still offered a table by one of the staff. The meal was nice and the service was very good, the waitress was lovely. Would recommend.
Nice food, good sized portions. Location a little remote, need to drive really but have an enclosed play area for kids
Came to the farmhouse with my sister's yesterday, we went into the wacky warehouse, unfortunately there was some very abusive, verbal and physical horrible children that tried to pick on them and the other kids in there before I could complain and get some help from staff a member, a woman come flying in when asked her name was named Robyn she managed to get the kids out and sorted them straight out. how she managed it was very impressive we watched the whole thing and the kids was equally abusive to her yet she kept her composure and sorted the situation out better then any drill sargent could I reckon. I don't know how she managed it had the kids done to me what they was doing to her I would have gone mental, and she made sure every customer in there was okay very massive thank you to Robyn and a big well done 👍.
Went for their American style breakfast. It was ok, nothing wrong with it, just food. It was well presented and hot when we got it. The service was good tho.
