I just enjoyed the Express Menu with my wife. The goat's cheese salad was delicious, and the quiche afterwards amazing! We will definitely come back. At £12 it was great value for money, as it also included a glass of wine. A wonderful lunch.
This is such a nice place to stop into for lunch or breakfast (i havent tried their evening menu). My Nan isnt a big eater and they were happy to make her a smaller meal for less. Staff are friendly and it has a relaxed atmosphere. It is small so maybe not one to take toddlers to.
Amazing Sunday lunch. Lovely and friendly staff too. I'd recommend making a reservation as it is popular. Well worth a visit.
This was my second visit. The restaurant decor is lovely, calming colours. I had the belly pork but wish I'd had the lamb, found pork too dry, potatoes and veg good. Orange sponge also too dry and would benefit from creme freche. Service excellent.
Went to Churchill’s as a cafe we occasionally go to was closed. It was lovely. We had an English breakfast and every bit was delicious. I must say that I always rate a breakfast of the sausages,as I hate cheap, breads sausages but theirs were meaty. We will visit again. Friendly service too with reg
Excellent service & co-operation. Good value for money. On the small side but added to the friendliness. The occasional smoker in the door way or close to it is a small negative but I'd go back again. Four out of 5 is as good as things will ever be for me when I like somewhere if enjoyed. Only home
Quite possibly the best lamb I've had! Warm welcome from the lovely team on arrival, and very attentive service throughout. I had the lamb with parmentier potatoes, the flavours sat really well together and the lamb was melt in you mouth delicious! For dessert I had a cheeseboard, which was also won
Great place for breakfast. Good choice of small and large meals, good quality ingredients and always well cooked. Excellent coffee as well. A great start to the day can always be had here
This place is just lovely. We went for dinner and it did not dissapoint . The service is absolutely fantastic and the staff could not be more attentive . The atmosphere is very chilled and laid back . The menu is small with fresh local produce that very well prepared and presented . I will most cert
Grace and Ivy is a lovely place. The staff are warm and the atmosphere relaxed! I have just used this new business just a few times now (for COFFEE alone)but delighted to find that they make the stuff well. Well done Grace and Ivy!
Thank you so much Grace & Ivy. We walked through the rain, desperately needing somewhere to sit in the dry and have a nice lunch. This was a break between bands from a very wet Victorious Festival. The staff could not have been more accomodating - letting our soggy selves sit in a cozy corner and dr
Lovely friendly welcome. Nice surroundings since the refurbishment.
Very enjoyable breakfast. Good quality ingredients used i.e. the sausage and bacon.
Will definitely return. Highly recommended.
Good Sunday roast that was all fresh food and veg was well cooked. Nice interior and did a deal on 2 or 3 courses. Food was a little slow to come but it was quite busy
Fabulous roast beef on Sunday Rib of beef, real gravey. Home made Yorkshire puddings. I was in the trade for 20 years. Good job by all. All deserts are home made and top notch. Well done, what a team.
My wife has just started working around the corner, and out of the 3-4 cafes in Marmion Road to choose from, this is definitely the best one. Good food, pleasant service and good value. It's closed on a Tuesday which we found out today when we turned up.
Calls itself a restaurant but realistically s cafe or bistro. The food is high quality and made on site but it is pricey and they have crammed a lot of chairs in. It is very popular on Sundays and their Sunday roast is awesome, but you will need to book for Sunday lunch.
It's so well presented with great staff. Drinks are reasonably priced too. The food is great. Highly recommended
