Boathouse No.7 - Portsmouth - Photo album

Lovely cafe. Lots of cakes for sale. Bottle drinks are available. Hot drinks also. Loads of seating are available inside. The staff are polite, helpful and friendly. Great signs/flags. Vintage games.
Don't let the cafeteria style deter you. The food is excellent. You must ask for the gluten free options because they are not posted. The chicken pot pie and quiche are both GF, so are the beans, and the fries are done in a separate fryer. So good we went twice. My partner had a tasty non GF sausage
Indoor and outdoor dining, with full meals, snacks, and sweets available. Navy memorabilia, a shop, and a collection of historic, coin-operated (20p) novelty machines are here too.
It's a lot bigger inside than the Mary Rose café but the feel is a bit utilitarian. Service was good when we were there mid-week in October. We sat outside which was much nicer!
A free area of the Dockyard you can visit. Various food options including Pizza, Fish and Chips, Soup, Cakes and High Tea. Large seating area. Old style arcade machines at the back. A lovely eclectic gift shop with a large variety of different gifts available.
Nice food, but a bit pricey. Good atmosphere from the way it's decorated, to the vintage (and fully working!) amusement machines near the loos. They had a pianist and choir performing when we ate which was lovely.
Great shop - Nauticular. Good food - a tad expensive but that's to be expected, and lots of seating. Wonderful
Definitely gone down since the last visit. Fish and chips were diabolical, prepacked selection, or other nearby cafes would be a better option Nice and roomy and a good selection of food. Certainly not cheap buy was good. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Toilets clean, and as another revi
An ideal place to have a refreshing drink or snack in-between touring the historic dockyard. Staff all friendly & attentive, good quality food & drink. Plenty of tables and good facilities.
Food was tasty. But service was slow and a bit manic!! Had eggy hammy cheesey toasty. Was super yummy
Amazing venue inside the historic dockyard.. The sausage rolls are out of this world and the cake selection is soooo good. Clean loos and lovely staff.
Quite good choice and range despite the canteen feel. They appear to have thought about catering for a range of diets and it's child friendly. I feel like it could really good though without much extra effort. More green things to eat for example.
Good place to eat if you are at the Dockyard. The sausage rolls are awesome! Prices are reasonable for such places.
Perfect coffee shop after walking along by the water at the lido. Friendly staff. Delicious flapjack.
