Overall a decent standard green king pub. Well kept beer and tasty pub grub. Nothing amazing, but the staff are great and the place is clean.
Although a chain pub, has the feel of a friendly local.
Grew up in Pompey and never been in here. I didn't realise how big it was. It's good to see it is like a regular. Lot of people popping in for a pint after work. As evening come lots of families.

You can get a sharing platter for a good price. The drinks are a bit expensive but the food is a good price and very good value for money. There is a lot of room at the back if you want privacy. I only found one toilet near the door...there may be bigger ones but didn't see. So not sure what baby ch
Wife and I popped in for a midweek treat and ordered from the meal deal menu. 2 mains for under £15. Both went for something we'd had before. I had the fish and chips. Nice light batter, crispy chips and plenty of mushy peas. Not spectacular but tasty enough and good value. My wife had the Katsu chi
Perfect as Always! Andrew, Chris Ben and the team are accommodating and friendly. Great Service, great atmosphere and as always perfect food. The Garden at the front and back is nice in the summer and a great selection of beers! If you want a family friendly pub to have great food and drink in Ports
Great place to take the family, good price too. We had the 2 fish and chips for £16 something. Quick food and the kids loved their food. Inside is really nice and lots of places to sit
Myself and family lovely food + drinks good portions couldn't eat dessert as too full up didn't have to wait long for food very nice atmosphere definitely recommend to visit will come again
Went,with 14 people my meal chicken and ham pie was very good but there were some people didn't like the way the burgers where cooked but staff apologised and refunded there meal. But all in all, very good

Very lively Friday evening but staff were great, food good and a decent bottle of Sav Blanc for less than £20!
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and we didn't wait to be served. well priced desserts and came in good time, they were delicious and we enjoyed them very much. Looking forward to going here again for a meal. Very happy with this pub!!

Had a wonderful evening to celebrate my sons birthday. Staff where really helpful and friendly, the food was superb all six of us agreed on that score. Would highly recommend the Golden Hind to anyone looking for quality and value.
