Gorgeous, huge hotel with beautiful features and amazing sea views. Lots of parking and friendly, attentive, helpful staff, very clean too. The shower took a while to warm up but it was lovely and hot when it did and the bathroom was spotless with bright white clean towels. The food was lovely and although there’s no set vegan menu, the chef made a real effort to ensure my vegan friend had plenty of good food to eat. Lovely place and I’d recommend it highly. Well done to all the staff!
We had our wedding reception 24/3/18 they where brilliant! the waiting staff and event coordinators where very attentive and friendly. All our guests loved the food and the beautiful building! Our day was well planned we didn't have to worry about anything. They made our day special thank u so much! And our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the seafront. The rooms were very spacious.
My son and his bride had their wedding reception here on Sat 5th August. I cannot praise it enough. Not only were the staff polite and helpful they couldnt have been more accomodating. Jess, the events manager along with ALL the staff were fantastic. Myself and my mum, along with many more family members and friends booked rooms for the night which included breakfast with the newlyweds. All i heard were good reports. I would definately recommend The Queens and would certainly go again. Thank you all very much for making my son and daughter in laws day, certainly a day to remember xxx
Jess and her team were superb and made our wedding day fantastic. The food was delicious and everything ran smoothly with a relaxed atmosphere all down to Jess excellent planning, the teams professionalism and attention to detail. Can't recommend them enough.

This is a truly beautiful, classy and elegant venue for anyone planning a wedding. We held everything here (ceremony and reception), and Jess and Bianca in the Events team were beyond accommodating to all of our needs. They helped us through every stage of planning and also through every stage of the day! Everything flowed so smoothly and several of our guests approached us to tell us how wonderful the staff, food and rooms were in the hotel. We can't thank you enough, you made our day truly magical and memorable.
My partner and I stayed here for one night as we were doing an abseil for Parkinson's uk at the spinnaker tower which also lead to us getting engaged. The food was lovely. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Room was clean and perfect. Would be happy to stay at this hotel again as we were comfortable and looked after. Thank you.

We stayed at the beautiful queens hotel last night for Valentine's event what an amazing hotel it is to we live in Gosport and didn't realise that such an amazing hotel was right on are doorstep the food was lovely the staff couldn't do enough for us nothing was to much trouble and one member of staff that stood out for us was ALEX in the bar i left my phone charger at home and he went out of his way to go and find one for me what an absolutely love guy and also would like to say a massive thank you to Frank and dean you made are Valentine's to remember thank you to all the staff at the queens hotel I will be putting a review on trip advisor as well
Visited on a Sunday to try out the roast. Service excellent and nice to catch the sax/clarinet player (I believe that he performs every Sunday). The roast was very good, one of the better roasts I have had in Portsmouth even if the beef was a little fatty. Dessert I opted for the Creme Brûlée which was lovely underneath, just a little disappointed that the topping was burnt. Overall though the meal was lovely and temperature just right (as on a previous visit in the New Year the food arrived cool). And please, if there is a male attendant in the ladies can a sign be put on the door. Will be back 😀
Family and friends met up for a ‘social’. 15 in number with several dietary requirements, but nothing was a problem. Katey, Alfredo and the team ensured everything went smooth.
Pre ordering food was a great plus. Only downer was looking at everyone else’s plate before yours was delivered thinking wow, I’d like that. Most had 2 courses, some a starter others a desert. All beautifully presented and only positive comments. Some did choose to add a desert, having experienced how good the starters and mains were.
Service was very attentive, but not invasive. Nothing was too much trouble.
All said they would return.

Birthday Sunday lunch for 5. Had mains and desserts. Food well presented and cooked. Nice to have saxophonist performing at sensible volume in background and general buzz of place. Deserts are quite special and a varied choice. We will be back.
We went for afternoon tea on a Sunday lunchtime. Great atmosphere with a saxophonist playing. Staff were attentive without being obtrusive, nothing was too much trouble for them. And the food was delicious. We’d happily go back again & try the roast which looked amazing!
Such a beautiful setting and the food was delicious. The only reason for four stars was that the toilets were in asad state of repairs, one was out of order another had a seat which was split and falling off and the third was leaking all over the floor.
Fabulous Sunday lunch with excellent Sax background music. The service was superb, I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.
Another very enjoyable Sunday Lunch experience. I marked the food down a little as the soup starter was only luke warm (at best).
