I went with some friends on a saturday lunch and it was great.
Friendly staff, delicious food and tasty drinks.
I enjoyed my lunch so much so i recommend it.
Been here 3-4 times over the past 2 months and had nothing but great service from really friendly staff. The food is amazing the fact the gluten free menu is so good so my partner has as much to choose from as me is a real treat. I was almost put off by the bad reviews but I have found the points left by others to be untrue those people probably expect silver service for them and there little snot goblins and probably left no tip but a massive mess to clean up.
Head here and try for yourself this is my new favourite restaurant in gunwarf.

All the mains had been cooked amazingly and to perfection, no complaints a bit on the taste/ proportions.
If your on a vacation and trying to have different cusines, then I'd definitely recommend this place.
Chiquito is a great mexican restaurant on Gunwarf Quays. It has an amazing price quality relationship which means that you'll good, well served and exciting mexican food for a relatively low price.
Fajitas are the best, specially chicken!
Also tried the tacos as a starter, they are delicious too.
I always get my Desperados with a slice of lime on top!
Great place and atmosphere with wonderful staff, especially Valentina and Luiz. The food is also definitely worth the wait. But my personal favourite had to be my drink, which was the Sugar Skull, though there seemed to be a hole in the glass because the drink kept disappearing. Definitely recommend this place, and will be back soon. Also, thank you to the manager as well who recommended the desserts.

Absoutely loved this place, the food, the staff and the ambience and people around, all were amazing.
We had vegetarian food and my little daughter's first time experience with maxican food was fabulous. She also loved the way food was presented.

My experience at Chiquito Mexican restaurant was fantastic! The tasty nachos were served piping hot and had a perfect balance of cheese, sour cream, and salsa. The main course didn't disappoint either - the incredibly good chicken fajitas were cooked to absolute perfection. The flavors of the tender chicken, mixed peppers, and onions were heightened by the sizzling skillet, and the beautiful presentation made it all the more appetizing. The service was top-notch, with the polite and friendly staff making sure that all my needs were met. Overall, I would highly recommend Chiquito to anyone looking for an authentic and satisfying Mexican dining experience.
Brilliant food and service. Definitely coming back here again in the future.

We always love a trip to Chiquito. It's tried and tested. Food and drink are always great, as are the staff.
Can't fault it.
Lovely place to eat. Our waitress Erika was amazing and made the evening very enjoyable. The food was also extremely good. Despite being a busy Friday evening, we didn't feel neglected at all. All in all, good staff and good food, can only recommend.
Pretty good dining experience this evening. Food is quick to come and hot. Dishes are bigger than expected, so don't fill up on starters. Mocktails are delicious.
We have visited the Portsmouth branch 4 times now and we love it. The food is always so tasty and the portions sizes are decent. We've gone with friends and also taken the kids so suits everyone. Staff are elite. Excellent customer service, manager very accommodating and nothing seems to be any trouble.
Really enjoyed our taco meal with corn bread and green bean Fries.first visit to this restaurant will definitely be going back again. Only odd thing was the dipping hot sauce they have three levels mild, hot 🌶️🌶️, and volcanic 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. So we plumped for the hot ...... Definitely not two chillies far to hot for the food ordered, I would hate to think how hot the volcanic sauce is. I like spicy food but this is on a different level. Parking nearby this restaurant is on the first floor with an escalator up but not down and the lift is under maintenance/renovation so not sure suitable for all customers.
