It's a nice restaurant and I went for lunch with my colleagues. Everything is freshly cooked so expect to wait a while for your food to arrive. I went for the beyond burger despite not being vegan as there wasn't a great deal that appealed to me. However, my colleagues did enjoy their food..portions were large and staff professional. I think for dinner it would have been a better experience as the restaurant was empty apart from our table and service was extremely slow.

Nice atmosphere although not as cosy as it could be temperature wise (perhaps the size of the restaurant). Good tasty food overall with a selection of side dishes. My critique was the potato to meat ratio being overall more on the carb-heavy side. The calamari was unreal, and the chorizo was succulent. the paella was tasty, although it did not have the sticky / burnt parts to the rice which would make it seem less like risotto. Overall a nice experience - just would have liked it if the waiter told us how many potatoes we were ordering and what wine to pair with our dishes. I ate everything and had stomach ache so go for 3-5 dishes for 2 people

An intriguing visit. We had just popped in to have a cold drink and maybe some tapas, nothing more. Just a whim. We saw the happy hour menu and in true British form homed in on the 2 for 1 Classic Cocktails (photo of menus attached). Mojitos we thought, we’d had some the other month at a winter sunshine destination. Now the sunshine had finally arrived on the South Coast it was time for a Mojito! So long story short (you dear reader have better things to do than to idly flick pages of reviews…) the staff and then the owner disagreed with our financial interpretation of 2 for 1. “Is not possible” they said. “It’s written on your happy hour menu” we said. It was Fawlty Towers level of farce. We capitulated like compliant British restaurant goers we are and our Mojitos arrived along with our tapas. The food was, and always has been, outstanding. But neither my wife nor I could taste any hint of alcohol whatsoever in the Mojito and rest assured dear reader it was certainly not meant to be a virgin Mojito. I couldn’t help but take a photo of my expensive “lemonade” as many of the other diners were busy with their phones I was feeling left out. So to review the important things: the food is excellent, the happy hour menu is misleading, the staff (and owner) are patient and unyielding, a cocktail is unwise and you can’t go wrong with a San Miguel in a Spanish Restaurant. Harshness isn’t really my style so 4 stars I think is fair and honest judgment. I’d just love to see a little more clarity on that happy hour menu when next reprinted….

As it was our first time we ordered something that we didn’t know it would serve spicy and was not mentioned in the menu, so it was hot but taste really delicious, the portions were pretty good and it was garnished nice.

Lovely Tapas restaurant set within the port Solent marina. Serving delicious food and a great choice of wine and cocktails. The restaurant has great views of the marina as well as seating outside the restaurant itself. A good food menu to choose from and the service was excellent . Highly recommended

This place really is great. Nice food, great service and the atmosphere is cosy. We went in around 5:30pm and a few people were already eating here. By 6:30pm the place was nearly full and I can see why. I simply cannot fault anything and that is something really unusual these days.

Favourite place. Can't fault the food. Each dish is cooked perfectly. Would recommend. Can be expensive for large group but the food is worth it.

Just as we’ve seen with the user feedback we get from our customers, there’s a tendency for users to review a negative experience rather than a positive one. For this reason, businesses have an obligation to reply more to negative reviews. This leads to the positive reviewers feeling a bit neglected. This is why we’re addressing this topic here, so you can give your customers their 💐💐💐 (flowers) when they deserve them. Top-notch Service

Helpful staff from the start too, we arrived with our baby in a buggy and they put up an extra umbrella for us too. 10/10 tapas! Four of us had lunch we all opted for the three tapas dishes and dessert. Couldn’t fault any of the tapas dishes, was expecting them to be a lot smaller too. But they were of a decent size and great flavours. Had prawns, cod, halloumi, steak, Spanish chicken, and all sorts of other little bits! Desserts on the other hand not so much - but didn’t go for the desserts - ice cream was cheap tasting and churros not fully cooked but we were all stuffed by this point so it was irrelevant. Will definitely be returning!

My partner and I went here for the first time last month prior to visiting the cinema. The waiter was really friendly and helpful. The food was great and arrived very quickly. The portions were much larger than we expected so we ended up having to take a doggie bag home! The cocktails were two for one so I couldn't resist having a jug of Sangria(!!). We were both really impressed with the food and service and will definitely go back.

A great restaurant in a great location. Good value. Unhurried. Go later if you want more atmosphere. Plenty of outdoor seating for when it's nice and window seats with marina views for when it's not.

Out of this world food. Just wow! Absolutely huge portions, ordered far too much, hence went home with three doggy bags. Lovely atmosphere, very traditional Spanish restaurant, beautifully decorated with very pleasant staff, particularly Callum who was charming and very informative about the menu. Can't wait to return. Definitely would recommend La Casa Flamenca.
