We came for our first visit today. Lovely food! I had the avocado and halloumi burger, my 1 year old tried the finger food platter. The children's menu is one of the best I've seen, lots of variety and healthy options. Very child friendly, toys to play with etc. Dog friendly too! We'll definitely be back again

Heard good things about this place so decided to head down to Southsea today with our youngest (4 months old) and try it out....glad we did as we loved it. One of the best ploughman's I've ever had, washed down with a nice beer, whilst my wife thoroughly enjoyed her Cajun chicken burger. However what made this lunch more enjoyable was the very laid back atmosphere. It's very rare to be able to take the kids out for lunch and not worry that you are upsetting others with them being "too loud" or "making a nuisance". With toys in the corner for them to play with and even a bumbo to use, my little one had a great time. Thank you, we will definitely see you soon

The pancakes here; OMG! They taste like fairground donuts and are as light as air. The coffee is great and the indoor play area for kids is a godsend, as is the proximity to the splash park. Rapidly becoming my favourite spot in Southsea for breakfast/brunch/lunch and everything in between!

We came for lunch and were not disappointed. I had the most delicious jacket potato with beans and cheese and a lovely salad. My boyfriend had the big all day breakfast and said it was far nicer than the one from a similar style restaurant along the seafront! The staff were lovely too.

Had a lovely lunch here last weekend with my husband and 10 month old. We hadn't looked at the children's menu beforehand, so took some food for little one. No one batted an eyelid at this, which was great, but we were actually really impressed with the children's menu, so did order something for her too. Tasty food, very kid-friendly and relaxed atmosphere - highly recommend. Thank you!

Very welcoming and great food, always a good range of dogs! I agree with other reviews there was a noticeable drop in quality a few months back this was obvious on Sunday mornings when I normally visit but this time it was back to its old self, this visit was mid week so will wait and see if sundays have improved!

A place like this is needed in every town. The food is good and honest. Children are well catered for and you can let them play in the playhouse when they get bored. They do an awesome afternoon tea as well!

Good value set price lunch menu options, along with a normal light snack menu, in elegant surroundings. Had 2 courses for £12.95. Ham hock with maple syrup and piccalilli on sourdough was yum as a starter, along with a nicely seasoned juicy steak as a main. Server was very old school polite and enthusiastic, as was the girl behind the bar.

Always love to have breakfast with my kid there, or a morning coffee/ tea in their beautiful rose garden with dog walking friends. You can see the landing craft of D day museum through south facing window. It is my favourite cafe in Southsea

I was pleasantly surprised stumbling into this cafe. Having read zero reviews and looking for a bite to eat with my daughter, having seen other busy cafe's rammed, I didn't have high hopes for some reason. But it was great!

Nice friendly place to go for breakfast, food very good quality, so couple of pounds extra to standard breakfast prices but well worth it, staff friendly, tho place was pretty cold when I went in November.

Really very child friendly place with a play corner and accepting environment for my granddaughter to be happy there. Food was pretty good too! Vegan options on the menu, good sized portions. Need to sort out the air quality though, it got a bit smoky from the cooking at times, maybe a new filter on the extractor guys!

Great food. Good service. Clear guidance on covid rules. Coffee is decent and very accommodating for child and dogs. Lots of vegan options and very open for using veggie sausage on kids menu for my daughter. Will visit again.

Stopped here for lunch, it was busy but staff were great as was the menu, the food was fresh and of a high standard, two meals were taken with the mug of homemade soup, which was very nice and two meals of the goats cheese on bruschetta, one of which was GF. Would certainly visit again.

Easily accessible with wheelchairs and pushchairs. The food is lovely and cooked as you order with some daily specials. At times it can become very busy and groups of people often meet here. Dogs are allowed in a section inside which makes it a nice place to pop into after a walk along the beach.

Lovely staff, excellent service, fabulous coffee, can't really rate the food as the weather was really windy so food was cold by the time it got to us, this is not the fault of the staff just we have to eat outside due to Covid restrictions. I'm sure on a lovely day the food would be perfect

One of Southsea's best kept secrets! This charming little cafe does excellent food with a lot of variety to choose from, and has plenty of space inside. It is fantastic for children, offering a small play area and a healthy and varied kids menu. The specials are updates regularly and have always been delicious.

I love this place, have eaten here so many times and never had even one questionable meal! Dog and child friendly, their breakfasts are delicious and am actually drooling a little bit just thinking of their avocado toast and lattes.... Yeah, I'll be back again soon!

Good traditional cafe with an alcohol licence. However we had a pot of tea which was great and toasted teacakes to bring back memories. Very friendly helpful staff. We'll go in again next time we visit Southsea.
