I have read a few reviews and do not agree with some. We visited Portsmouth last Thursday, 5th July, on a day out, and 1st stop was to get a drink and a bite to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful. Coffee was excellent, as was the sandwich - thanks
Staff are outstanding here, always happy, hard working and happy to help!
The store however is now showing a lot of wear and tear, several seats are completely unusable and just general age. The 'dine' in fee needs to fund more frequent cleans around the cafe/store as it is often dirty probably not enough staff recruited as the staff always work hard.
It's a Pret innit. Usual Pret-ness, staff are always friendly and well trained, coffee is good.
Two visits on one day as efficient staff & warm inside on a cold day. The almond croissant was amazing.
Lovely food , friendly staff. Unfortunately, the place is starting to look quite tired. The seats are ripped, and the tables are sticky. Needs updating.

Such a wide range of vegetarian and non vegetarian food. It's a great interior with booths, tables, and comfortable seats. To purchase food you select it from the fridges, decide whether you want to eat in our take away and then pay for it at the counter.
Very standard pret a manger in a great spot. I arrived after the lunch rush and they were doing a great job rotating stock. They are good at this.
Has got very expensive but nice fresh food. Shame coffee is only served in cardboard cups even if you dine in.
We had some good Oat cappuccino and Vanilla latte today.
I do like it here. Almost TOO many things I like, so hard to choose! I had a falafel thing with beetroot hummus. Was very good. Also chocolate mousse. (Or moose as they call it!)

As a visiting Australian and vegan I hadn't been to Pret before and was pleasantly surprised by the range of vegan options. Well played Pret A Manger!
Another branch of the iconic café is always very busy, especially during school holidays and tourist visitors
Lots of good food options, service was okay.
The sofas need fixing, currently lots of them are torn.
