Place have spaces to sit outside. However we were restricted to sit at the tables located next the waterfront, for unknown reason.
The restaurant was busy on a Thursday afternoon. Table was wobbly a bit.
The food arrived literally in 5 minutes after the order was made. The pasta 🍝 was tasty, I would not call pizza original pizza but still okay, I would prefer to more sauce on pizza as it was a bit dry.
May be a bit overpriced for the Italian fast food pretending to be a restaurant.

We supped on calzone & carbonara with mushrooms & pancetta.
Both were very good.
We would come back.

Amazing service, staff were polite, atmosphere was lovely. The starters, particularly the calamari and cheesy garlic bread were delicious. The carbonara could use with more pecorino but we were also provided cheese to add ourselves so it was fine. Overall, a lovely experience :)
We enjoyed a meal on a fine Saturday evening when the atmosphere was buzzing. There is indoor and outdoor seating with views over the harbour.
First time I’ve eaten at a Zizzi restaurant & it won’t be the last. OMG the food was amazing, the staff were really really lovely. My partner has a wheat and gluten allergy & the choice of dishes is so much better then most restaurants. If I had to give one negative about this place, it would be that they didn’t have any gluten/wheat free pizza bases. Other then that great food.
Also if you like a bit of spice, then try the garlic cheese bread with chillies, I was sweating really bad 😂😂
Can’t wait to eat out at another Zizzi’s near me.

Lovely place, with amaizing view ovee the water front. Food is excellent, if a blue light card holder, make sure the vouchers apply before ordering, as at times some offers are not available.
Fantastic service and quality authentic food! 💯 Seated quickly despite being a walk-in on a Friday evening, and both drink and food orders were taken quickly. The food arrived and was absolutely delicious; very authentic Italian flavours, and generous portions. The staff were fabulous, and very friendly. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and well-presented to guests. A very good dining experience, and we shall certainly return if in Portsmouth! 🇮🇹👌🏻
Absolutely stellar service from Marcin! I genuinely think it's the best service I've ever had in a restaurant. He was so kind, funny and helpful.
The food came quickly despite the restaurant being very busy and it was delicious. My only complaint with the place is that the toilet obviously hadn't been cleaned for a while.
All-in-all it was a lovely evening meal.

No problem with parking in the multi story early on a Sunday morning at 0930. Gets busier as the city wakes up. On a sunny lunch hour, the outdoor seating appealed but there were not enough parasols to cover every table. Many customers must have fried in the heat. We chose inside and were the 2nd group seated. Again, it filled up later through the meal, so by dessert, the place was full, inside and out. Service began to slow as the crowd increased. No surprise there.
Drink orders were taken quickly and arrived with plenty of ice and a small bowl of nibbles. No starters but 3 different mains. Risotto, Meatballs and Loaded chips. All these were cooked from scratch in the open kitchen, with indoor, outdoor and delivery orders competing for the chefs attention. A short wait but we'll worth every mouthful. A huge chunk of Parmesan was shaved on dishes as requested and we tucked in. Not a scrap remained.
For dessert the Limoncella slice and a banana brownie were shared and devoured. Refreshing and delicious. Definately recommended for a special occasion and a view like no other.
Just had an early evening meal whilst overlooking the sunny waterfront. We had the smoked salmon, pesto risotto with courgette and pea shoots - it was sooo delicious and we had a vegetarian pizza - it was thin, crispy and excellent.
We only had an hour before the ferry so they sped the food to us, making it a very relaxing time. All the waiting staff were attentive and friendly. We were able to compliment the chefs on our way past them..
I ordered a takeaway from Zizzi last week for my birthday meal. I'd never had food from Zizzi before and I will definitely be having it again! The food was delicious and hot when it arrived. They also gave me a free chocolate brownie for my birthday, it was so lovely of them! Big up the amazing Ben for his service and kindness!
