Karen was very friendly and extremely welcoming. Although I had some difficulty understanding the menu, her extreme patience helped me through it and I ordered a coffee. The coffee was very good and the temperature was just right!
Had a cornish pasty and coffee, to take away, nice shop, can't really comment t on atmosphere as did not sit in, but all looked alright.
Pasty was nice and hot, though eatable, not burn your mouth, very full with meat and veg, unlike some places that are half empty or flat.
I visited during an exceptionally busy time (lunchtime during a rainstorm), so it was overcrowded. Staff did a great job of keeping the queue moving. My server opened another till to get my order taken. He was attentive and was efficient.
Food was as you would expect; quality pasties.

Lovely little cafe. Every time I've walked past its always busy. Lovely service. The gentleman that was seving has excellent customer service. Will definitely call in again.
So far the best cornish pastries i have ever tried. Coffee is also good, and staff is very nice and friendly
Such a lovely little bakery! We popped in the morning after a wedding (it was well needed) and they have an incredible selection of pastys and goodies. The Pasty - I chose a Beef and Chipotle pasty - it was about the best thing I have tasted for a Long time. Absolutely Fabulous!!!
Lovely food, great selection. However, customers have nowhere to queue having ordered their food except by the till so getting in the way. Staff don't appear to have a defined system as they continued to take orders while customers are waiting.
Quick and pleasant service. My latte was nice and the earl grey friand amazing!

The blueberry danish was one of the best I’ve ever had. I regret purchasing only one for takeaway! The chocolate torsade was also outstanding.
The place looks amazing after it's refurbishment. It felt so much bigger and brighter inside. Great food and service as always.
Such a lovely experience. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and I was very impressed with how they handled some very rude customers. Cappuccino was 10/10 and the scones were delightful.

Popped I for a quick bite to eat before going on our day. Had the Rhubarb,Apple and Custard pasty. Best thing I have had for a long time. Nice friendly welcome and a great atmosphere, would recommend to anyone down in Portsmouth.
