We booked online for a meal here and requested the 1kg Tomahawk in the special requests as you have to give 24 hours’ notice. Unfortunately this wasn’t received by the restaurant when we got there, however we were offered the Chateaubriand for the same price and were not disappointed at all! Tasted delicious, perfectly cooked and came out quickly.
Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the man who served us but he was fabulous and so attentive.
Food was superb, atmosphere brill and staff all lovely, will definitely be returning.
It’s the best steak place in Portsmouth. I can’t express enough how tasty good they serve. Bianca is the most sweet and friendly person there, she is making every visit very special. Jason making best drinks in the house. this place is amazing for just amazing meal, celebration or date. Go and treat yourself with amazing food, drinks and super friendly service
Amazing service & great food! All of the staff were so attentive, the food was so good on Friday evening I came back for breakfast on Saturday it didn't dissapoint!
It's rare in my neck of the woods the head chef will engage with customers, it was a really nice touch. Well worth the 4 hour drive. I'll be back soon.

The best steak I've ever had in the UK, cooked to perfection with crispy wilted seasonal veg. Met the chef whose passion shines through so brightly. Chris really is a huge asset to this establishment.
The decor is lovely, run by the owners daughter who takes huge pride in her work and loves making weird and wonderful bespoke cocktails.
Whilst a little more than we would usually spend on a night out, had we not had as many cocktails, we could have had marvelous food and drinks. Due to trying new cocktails we realised we needed a taxi and they very kindly called us one.

Enjoyed two for one cocktails on the roof terrace. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Saw, and smelled, some beautiful looking dishes coming out to people dining. Will be heading there in the future for food for sure.
We were able to get breakfast at exactly 9am on a Saturday which was great since we were staying nearby, on a tight schedule, and there aren't many local options. The food & service were excellent and the coffee is exceptional. The decor is Victorian Bonkers, worth a trip just to see it!
Mother's day Roast was amazing. Potatoes are so tasty and you get so much veg. Beef was good and the chicken was so tender.
Very catering to our children, service was spot on.

We have been to Chambers several times but took friends there for Xmas meal … they were blown away by the place. Had a great meal and Fabio the manager always treats you right and makes your visit great. Would recommend a visit anytime of the year but we’re definitely going back in the summer to really appreciate the whole Chambers vibe 🎉
Stopped by for a lunchtime drink and ended up with food. Nice menu, great service. Roadside location not perfect, can be noisy, but good for people watching and the chambers has a good vibe
I booked a table for a girls night out on a Thursday night and was told that Thursday's are 2-4-1 steak night so I knew what I would be having a week in advance!
The steak was awesome! So tender and well cooked.
We were told when we ordered that the cook was working alone so there would be a delay in getting the food out - it was so worth the wait and we weren't in a hurry so we enjoyed our 2-4-1 cocktails and settled in for an enjoyable evening.
Ended our evening with a post dinner cocktail on the roof top patio.
We will most definately go back!
We came here for my sisters baby shower. I don't think I have ever been to such an amazing buffet! The food was 10 out of 10 and the amount of food... it just kept coming. Fantastic service from all the staff and the most cutest bar top terrace. Would highly recommend.
My daughter had her wedding reception here Friday 26th May what an amazing venue. We had the upstairs which was beautiful. The one problem was Bianca was up and down stairs for wine. She was very attentive and couldn't do enough for us all. Will definitely be back...you do need to install dome sort of lift though as older guests found it very difficult to climb the steep stairs
The interior of this place is so festive and cozy. I could sit here with friends and drink wine all day. My friend and I had their bread and olives, butternut squash soup, and christmas pudding with some rose. It was very good and reasonably priced for the portion (the portion sizes are pretty big). The staff are also really friendly. I had a great experience and would want to return to try their main menu as well.
The Sunday roasts are to die for. I cannot recommend enough . All the staff are amazing and the chef is the best. Thanks again we will be back
Lovely food, very unique decor. Excellent spot for a romantic dinner for two. Polite friendly staff. Some of the portions are rather large beware!
I'd recommend the cocktails and lounge area as well.

This was my first time here, visiting at 3pm. It was very quiet, but very cosy inside. The Xmas decorations were great!
We chose off of the set lunch menu on Saturday which was £13.95 pp for 2 courses. Drinks were a further £4 each so average prices for the area.
The lamb cutlets I had were cooked to perfection and pretty much fell off the bone. I'm no food critic but I'm pretty sure that's a good thing.
The staff were attentive without being overly fussy - it always amazes me that waiters ask if the food is OK at the exact time I have a mouthful of food.
All in all I'd recommend Chambers if this visit was indicative of their usual standards.
