The Marmion Southsea - Portsmouth - Photo album

There are very few pubs in Portsmouth that serve a good roast so I was pleasantly surprised after my visit to The Marmion. Homemade Yorkshire, roast potatoes and gravy (made the proper way) were all lovely as was the veg - everything tasted very fresh! I think I can say that I preferred it to the ot
We popped in for a drinks at the weekend after the great south run. Without us asking the lovely staff gave our dog a little gravy dinner which she absolutely loved. Really attentive and thoughtful, very friendly staff and great service. And obviously dog friendly ☺️
Had a lovely pre theatre dinner here last night. Had their taster menu and was fab as was the white chocolate and passionfruit cheeses cake. Service good and efficient. We will be coming back again.
Great atmosphere and reasonably priced. Superb venue for after work drinks.
Nice pub, friendly staff, will use again. We need to use our local pubs or we will loose them
Really friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks.
Well, it’s no wonder the Marmion gets such great reviews having sampled their fayre tonight I can only but agree. Not advertised as a family pub (because it isn't), but we had 2 small children in our group for food on a Sat eve. The staff went above and beyond to cater for us though, very friendly indeed. The pub is lively, it was a Sat eve/night so was to be expected! Food was in good time, tasted good and onc
Lovely food....Excellent service....Will definitely be back....
Love this restaurant and a treat when I visit Southsea
Excellent food great service and nice beer, in nice comfy surroundings 100 per cent recommended, thanks for an excellent Christmas lunch.
Nice, a little dear tho and usually very noisy. Good place to go with your shopping if you've been to Waitrose and are ordering a cab and getting in a quick half. Good selection of ales. The bar manager is a cool dude, for sure.
A lovely place to have breakfast, nice atmosphere, care and attention to detail Come and see for yourself...The fruit bowl, yougart and honey is recommended!
The extensive collection of gins make this an easy favourite for me. Great atmosphere and good food.
