Finally somewhere that offers grilled fish n chips rather than everything in sloppy batter like the rest of this town.. this place is really rather good .. the grilled non battered options are superb PLUS the batter (if you do go the traditional route) is perfectly thin & crispy.. portion sizes are decent and the fish was cooked perfectly .. will 100% be ordering from here again.. it’s got my seal of approval .. ��
Absolutely delicious! I had the loaded fries which were incredible. The very generous portion of chips was smothered with green pesto, roasted veg and yummy locally sourced feta. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the chef had a lovely smile �. I will be back for more although my waist line might not thank you but I certainly will. Excellent food and service that I highly recommend �

Lovely fresh fish, chips & curry sauce. Have wanted to try this place for quite a while but living in the Northwest I have had to be patient! We will definitely be back again. We got a takeaway & ate ours overlooking the sea - perfect fish & chips with a perfect view over the Solent �� x

Stunning food! Really happy we chose to get a delivery instead of cooking tonight. My cod, chips and pea purée were beautiful, not at all greasy, and my partners malaysian seafood curry with coconut rice was amazing. Fast delivery and brilliant food, absolutely our new favorite place to get seafood!

A busy Friday night but we found a seat. The server checked that they had the haddock left before completing our order, which was good. They'd run out of curry sauce which I had been looking forward to, our fault for not getting there earlier! The pea and mozzarella fritter was a delight & fish was beautiful. Great portion sizes and they had scraps! Gave us a lovely sized dish full - very happy northerner!
We first went here a year ago and it's really good. The batter was light and crispy. The chips were nicely cooked. The amazing thing is that you wouldn't know that the batter is gluten-free, of which you wouldn't tell the difference.

Amazing food. The large cod was delicious and big piece of fresh fish. The large crab loaded fries was again a huge portion (definitely could have had the small as a meal). Great value and friendly service. Can’t wait to go back to try other things on their menu 👏🏻 £15 a head for x2 drinks, large cod + chips, large loaded fries, mushy peas and some frickles.
Absolutely fantastic! Service is always great and with a smile. The food is incredible.
I hardly post and have a rule to try food restaurant 3 times before making a judgement. But I've never been disappointed.

This is rumoured to be the best fish and chip place in Portsmouth... if it's not, it must be very close. The fish was beautiful... no skin, no bones and a light batter. The chips were bitesized with some crispy, some not so. Ketchup and mayo were available on the table. We were served at our table by a very friendly and cheery Abi. The main counter is geared towards take-away. There are only a few tables to the righthand side so you may have to wait if you want to eat in.
The best loaded chips EVER!!! Loads of fresh crab, and lashings of lobster mayo!!! The fish and chips were amazing too as was the service and to top it all off a fantastic playlist throughout the meal!!!!
Amazing gluten free fish and chips so light and crispy not greasy at all and very reasonably priced considering! fast service and friendly girl behind the counter i would 100% recommend for anyone with celiac/ gluten allergy that misses good fish and chips because these were second to none
Excellent fish and chips... Fresh cod, a nice, light, not oily batter, excellent chips. You can't ask for more. We also tried the dirty chips with crab and lobster, laced with mayo. A nice restaurant and well worth a visit
What a little gem of a place, hunting for gluten free fish and chips and discovered this great place. Super friendly staff, and the food was absolutely gorgeous and delicious. Proper battered gluten free cod, the chips were extremely good too. I will definitely make a return visit and highly recommend this place. There are a few tables for dining in or you can takeaway.
