Nemrut - Portsmouth - Photo album

Despite a modest exterior this is the best Turkish food I've had in the UK, hands down. I've been 3 or 4 times in the last 6 months. Reasonably priced and with an excellent selection, I hope to have tried literally every dish on the menu one day.
Very tasty and delicious, what I liked more than the food in this shop is how nice and welcoming the owner was he even gave us some turkish tea and turkish delight for free. I had no issue with anything and the food was so nice, I would recommend to go for the lamb cause believe me that meat is well
A great place to experience a real Turkish meal. The staff are all lovely & attentive. Great food, great service & a lovely atmosphere. Everything tasted so fresh. I would highly recommend you try it.
Been here loads of times and always drag my colleagues along when we're in town. Informal and friendly with great fresh wholesome food. Prices are reasonable and they serve olives, chilli sauce and warm flat bread as a complimentary appetiser. Try the excellent Turkish wine. Food is cooked over hot
Great food! Extremely polite and friendly staff! Love it!
Very good food, big portions and polite staff. We'll be coming back again.
A pleasant experience. You get a small appetizer of olives, sauce and bread to start. I had the stuffed eggplant which was a bit too oily for my liking. You get a small dessert also to end the meal.
First visit. We both chose the Karniyarik (stuffed aubergine) and it was delicious! Very filling so we decided not to have dessert. The service was friendly throughout and we will be back to try some other dishes.
Good place! Friendly staff! Great food! Guess that sums it all:) we ordered the lamb kebabs, Stuffed eggplant, Baklava.
A lovely meal, very quiet. Service was good and reasonably priced

Amazing food, lovely atmosphere went here with my brother Lee Mason had a lovely meal can't wait to go again
Amazingly great food, loved the cold mixed meze and the Turkish mixed grill. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is a lovely ambience in the restaurant. The food is cooked over real charcoal in front of you. great value and great taste. Definitely worth a trip
We booked a table for five ahead of time and were seated immediately. Walking in past the open coals grilling meat and vegetables and the wonderful smell accompanying this made us all instantly hungry. When seated, we were given olives, warm bread and asked if we wanted drinks. The bread and olives
We had a very nice experience in Nemrut restaurant. We had mix grill plate and Incik. Chicken and meat were perfectly grilled. Incik was suggested by the restaurant and it was really a perfect suggestion! The meat in Incik plate can’t be more delicious! For sure we will visit again and again. It’s d
A very nice restaurant with great food and service. Their Kebabs are excellent and the Manager and Staff are very cordial. I recommend this place for Food lovers.
We were looking for a place to have dinner in Portsmouth. After a while without making our mind we found ourselves standing outside of this restaurant when a very friendly gentleman came outside to welcome us and asked If we're hungry. He opened the door and found us a seat. I must say I'm very grea
Ventured here on the 27/1/23 for my bro in laws birthday. Th decor is basic, and it's not exactly authentic but you can overlook these things if the food is good. We had a mixed hit and cold meze and mixed kebab each and pleased to say it was Very good. Not over garlicky, and had a great bbq taste
