A comfortable pub, good atmosphere. Consistently good beer over 3 visits. This time we went inside for food. Both dishes were excellent. Service friendly and excellent. We would definitely recommend this to friends and hope to return. Also staff are lovely to our dogs.

We had supper three times during our week's stay in Gerrans. It's an excellent pub. Quite a short menu, but everything we had was excellent. Mussels were particularly memorable.

Delightful charming pub. Truly a relec from the old days, I was informed, as locals sat on the houses walls across the street and enjoyed their drinks. Seating outside and dogs welcome. Friendly staff and the food smelt amazing... wish we could have eaten in but had other plans.

Had a spot of lunch here. Once outside and once inside. Both meals and service were exceptional. I had a special of pork belly chiabata and fries. I have to say the half a pig on a butty with camembert was amazing. The portion was good value for the £15. I didn't eat for the rest of the day which is unheard of for me. Took both our dogs and a cat inside. Made very welcome by all staff. Can't rate highly enough. Will be returning.

Extremely busy and popular village pub for both locals and tourists, the bar staff had it nailed, despite the bar being literally rammed with people, there was no waiting at the bar, they clocked who was next in line etc, drinks were served quickly and staff friendly and we were effectively directed to our table. Menu was good, our food was unfortunately not that great (chicken was very dry) however that wouldn’t put me off returning or recommending this pub as it was the hub of the village and a nice night out on our holiday.😊

Had two lunchtime meals at The Plume, both excellent. A bit more expensive than an average island pub, but worth every penny. We will definately be back.

Such a wonderful, friendly pub! And the food is great too. We’re holidaymakers but we always get a warm welcome from the staff, as do our dogs. It’s very dog friendly - we were able to bring our dogs when we went for a meal. You have to book in advance as it’s very busy.

Pub review only, not rooms. I personally love this place for food. They have quite a large menu so you have lots of choice, and there is almost always an amazing special. Everything I have tried here has been incredible, my personal favourite being the Buttermilk Chicken Burger. Would recommend to anyone who is in Portscatho!

I’ve been walking the Coastal path and this is BY FAR the best pub I’ve encountered. Just go, make a detour. Lovely people. Great food, amazing atmosphere. Just the best. Well done everyone who makes this happen, you’re making great memories here.

We came to eat dinner here as we are staying at a holiday let nearby. I had found it online and booked based on reviews but it also came recommended by the people who operate the cottage we stayed at. It's a nice pub with friendly and attentive staff. Food portions were large and tasty. My husband had the catch of the day and loved it. The only downside I found was that it is also a local drinking pub with people and dogs standing/staying at and around the bar, and by the entrance. Our table was nearest the bar, and near the door, so it felt a bit crowded and noisy, not a quiet dinner for two as we had hoped.
