Koko is a nice little cafe with the most amazing views out over West Strand. The coffee is delicious and there was a selection of gluten free treats on offer too.
Advised of a 30 minute wait for food when we arrived. So well worth the wait wait. Beautiful toasted sandwiches and wraps with fabulous home-made ingredients. We will return.
A real hidden gem tucked on behind Barry's in #portrush.the gang in koko are great we even got to bring our dog big dave in with us .thst was a real bonus the cafe is really nice but the real gem is the balcony out the back .and I stand firm koko is the best cuppa tea on the north coast.
Beautiful views of the beach and decent coffee! They do alt milk options.
I had porridge with yoghurt and compote- big portion!
Great cafe with wonderful views. Really friendly staff as well and the food was quite tasty!! Would definitely love to come back
Fantastic coffee shop with one of the best views over the West Strand. Inside and outside tables available. Had a lovely catch up with a friend today over delicious coffee and bagel. Good coffee, food, chat, friendship, sea air and view - perfect.
Lovely coffee and traybakes , and dogs welcome too , amazing view and the cosiest log burner x
Great experience in this little gem. Staff friendly but not overly invasive- as I just needed to sit down somewhere to breastfeed my baby. Had a very nice mocha. Barista at till, male with light hair very approachable and friendly, he created a great dynamic at the till area and cafe overall giving me a welcoming feel into here, and always smiling! I think yous are now ready for your BF friendly sticker if one is not already there :)
Back area has beautiful view with more comfortable seating and then a large outdoor seating area, I will get seating here next time I visit 😁
Great coffee and a lovely cozy wee spot, nice bites for breakfast and lunch too, buns and tray bakes are delicious too
Lovely little spot that over looks the ocean. Staff seem friendly and willing to help answer questions. One critique would be to have the prices of food up on the menu, but again staff was helpful telling you the prices so this is a minor critique. Cafe was pretty noisy, though it was peak time on a Sunday so that was to be expected. Industrial style feel with modern art pieces on the walls gave plenty to look at inside.
Seating is rather limited for a busy coffee shop, and naturally the spots overlooking the water is taken first. My wife and I were able to snag a table midway and next to the fire which still have us a bit of a view as well as being toasty warm.
Prices seemed to be on average for the most part, but £4.50 for eggs and toast seemed a bit high in my opinion.
There is a small children's area which had a chalkboard wall to draw on and I noticed one board game as well.
Overall, we would certainly come back again, and look forward to being able to sit out on the balcony which overlooks the water.
Tasty coffee and buns, fair price, excellent views and friendly staff
