Ate at the Harbour Bistro last night with my Husband and 12 year old. I have to say that the food was FAB. I had the Salmon and my Hubby had the T Bone both done on the wood burning stove. The staff where lovely, pleasant and always had a smile unlike the chap at the reception of the Wine Bar who was unpleasant and had a face on him like he was sucking a lemon. He could take a few pointers from the staff in The Bistro
Been several times and always had a delicious meal. Food and service is fantastic and excellent value for money. Be sure to leave room for dessert. . . they are a must have !!!!
Always a good stop off location, it can be a nightmare on public holidays to get a table, but if you are willing to wait, then no problems. The food is always nice, but the wine bar burger seems to be less meat and more other stuff, which is disappointing from what it used to be years ago. But food really nice. There ate a number of bars on various floor of the restaurant all with the same sort of vibe. Would definitely recommend
Even though we arrived just at last orders for lunch the staff were super helpful and didn't rush us.
There are some lovely views over the marina and sea from the restaurant, again staff were super helpful in moving us once a table with a better view turned up.
The food is really great, our meals and meal of others we saw being brought to tables all looked delicious.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a nice place to eat after spending some time in Portrush.
Booked table online , excellent table service,no problems changing table once arrived,food arrived so quick and each dish / meal 10/10 , ice cream sundaes delicious, I would book again in coast bottom restaurant of ramore restaurants
Incredible food, can't go wrong with whatever you order. Had a ribeye from the woodfire grill, with creamed spinach and chorizo cream sauce. Nothing was left behind! Went back the next day and will return again.
Loved the buzz in this busy restaurant. Easy parking. Really friendly and helpful staff. Quick delivery of food and drink. We had Haddock, chips and mushy peas, was excellent. Not too expensive. Would go back no problem.
Go upstairs there is a restaurant called wine Basalt is nice and has good view and food…However, the food was prepared before and they just heated up
We went there for our anniversary already booked a table although we were the first ppl arrived we still got a table literally next to the bar sadly wasn’t the experience I was looking for. Overall the food was delicious!
We went to Coast, Ramore restaurants on a Sunday afternoon.
The food was very well priced and absolutely delicious. Seasoned perfectly, great options and piping hot.
We had several waiters and each of them were wonderful. I'd like to thank one young guy Thomas, he recommended the mozzarella sticks and had great rapport with us at the table.
The food arrived quickly, and the portion size was that large,I had to take some home.
The only thing I would improve is the distance between chairs and tables with others. However, I understand this style is adopted as it's warm, friendly, and creates a togetherness environment, and this is a common feel for all ramore restaurants I've been.
Well done Coast. There were 10 of us. Taken to our seats by a friendly guy even though we were 15 min late. Orders taken, food and drinks delivered very quickly. Very tasty. Would recommend and will be back
We had booked into one of the other Ramore restaurants for a special 80th birthday meal on a Monday night… understandably the bookings were shifted to the bistro which was buzzing… the staff were phenomenal and did so much to make our evening as special as it was, topped off by a table in the snug in front of a roaring fire! Thank you to the lovely Manager and team for your superb hospitality and beautiful food!
A group of us went for lunch. We had quite a long wait to get served. There was 15 of us. It was worth the wait. Food excellent. Price reasonable. Views specular of the harbour area. Venue busy but fairly quick turnaround.
We arrived a few minutes before it opened yesterday and joined the queue. We were absolutely ravenous and were so lucky to get seated!
It was just the Wine bar that was open Mondays. It appeared to be first come, first served and quickly filled up.
We were seated with menus and had to place our order and pay at the bar.
Within half an hour we had our food. Absolutely delicious, I was ecstatic!
We didn't linger, although the desserts looked so tempting! There was a queue of people out the door waiting to get seated, so we got up to make room. They used the other restaurant areas for overflow they were so busy. Have to commend the staff for dealing with such pressure. Would have loved to stay longer, but understand it's hard to find staff in the current climate!
Loved The Wine Bar for lunch and The Harbor for dinner. Well trained and friendly staff. Great food. Don’t miss dessert. It’s a must. The Banofee pie is so very good.
It's been a while since we have been in the Ramore Wine Bar as a family (5) and I have to say that we all enjoyed it! I had the seafood thermidor which was very tasty and had plenty of fish in it. The rest had a couple of steaks, chicken strips and beef pasta. Everyone came away happy. Service and atmos very good too.
We didn't have a reservation but they said if we don't mind waiting for 1/2 an hour. You can sit at the bar until seating is available.
You have to queue to order and pay for food. The quality of our food was excellent and there is plenty to chose from. They also have a lot of beautiful desserts to choose from. The views from the restaurant are lovely, overlooking the sea of Portrush.
Visited Ramore on our North Coast trip.
I had the Fish Pie which was a very generous portion.
Staff were great.
I also ike that it's order at the bar for food and drinks.
Great value for money and good food.
