This is a traditional locals pub and Inn folks. If you enjoy what I do and that's, good olde fashioned pub hospitality without all your frills and fancy bits n bobs then this is the place. My wife and I stayed here for our 4 night duration and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The food is lovely and the value for money you get is brilliant. What a beautiful wee pub and the local entertainment is quality and SCOTTISH. My wee fave lady at the bar was Caitlin who looked after us very well. I cant remember the other girls name but she had a beautiful and broad Irish accent. When I go to Trip advisor I will be scoring 5 stars also. Thank you Isles Inn for a lovely stay and we will be back.. Mark & Jo xx

Just had a very pleasant visit to the Isles Inn this evening. Sat in the bar as we had two rather large & sometimes unruly dogs with us who (apart from a bit of a shout) behaved very well for a change. Think it may have been the dog biscuits from the very nice bar staff. Food was good, I had fresh mussels & the other half had a burger. Both lovely. The homemade chocolate brownie was the best I’ve had. Thanks for making our short visit so enjoyable.

Excellent food. Nothing too fancy but we all loved it. Great service too. I'd recommend the steak and ale pie in particular

This is our local pub and we hadn't had an evening meal here for quite a while as the restaurant is always really busy. We were swiftly seated by the window and waited no time for our starters despite the place being full. The main courses were delicious (2 veggie choices + a steak) and portions generous. Nothing fancy but tasty food, great value and excellent service from the friendly, professional staff. Will definitely be back for dinner as well as the usual drinks and great live music that we usually come here for.

Her var det lett å kose seg ! Fyr på peisen , god mat og musikk.. og hundene som kom innom ble varmt mottatt med vannskål og tyggebein

Great pub, great atmosphere we went in after getting soaked on a walk had a roaring fire which was very welcome. The only pub in Portree to allow dogs in and the staff are great with them. Will definitely be back .

We were looking for a place to eat on a Tuesday evening but Portree was super busy; had already tried 4 or 5 other places to be told they were fully booked or we could wait outside in the line for a table. The last place we tried recommended the Isles Inn as they don't take bookings, it's first come first served. There was already a line when we got there and we were told they had a full waiting list but that it could change in an hour. Luckily there were seats in the bar so we happily took a beer to wait it out. We hadn't even finished our first pint when we got seated in the restaurant. The food was excellent. Fish of the day cooked perfectly with broccoli & potato's and the cajun chicken burger with fries. We finished with the sticky toffee pudding and the toffee pudding Sunday. The service was great, the vibe was delightful and they had live music from 9pm. We were glad we ended up here as it turned out to be a wonderful evening. Would recommend.

Fish & chips were delicious, soup was ok. Really appreciated the friendly & quick service, and the atmosphere is fun. Just be aware that they only serve food after 3pm!

Very very busy evening with only 3 people in the front of house. Super nice pub food for a good price. I was blown away by the hospitality of the staff, very busy because of the rugby match but they had time for everyone and served everyone on time with a smile. Hard to find these days! Chapeau!

Decent pub. I thought the beer tasted nice, but unfortunately could not sample the food due to overcrowding. I watched the World Cup of Rugby which was amusing (not for the locals as Scotland lost). Would happily visit again if I pass back through one day.

This is a great spot for a meal. They have live entertainment on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, but unfortunately I was not there one of those days. The seafood here is delicious, whether the fish and chips or the catch of the day. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Haggis, neeps and tatties were the best I’ve had recently. Pie was excellent as was the burger. It’s busy but has a good vibe. The food is freshly prepared - would highly recommend if you are staying locally and need a good, humble, hearty feed!

Today's soup, beer. Very cheeky sign I found hilarious. Lovely service. Good prices. Didn't eat just popped in for a drink while waiting on the bus. Super close to the buses so it's perfect if you only have a few minutes

Good, fresh food, a variety of local dishes and lots of beverages to choose from. We were very satisfied and enjoyed the cake and the catch of the day! Thanks

My husband and I came in on an early afternoon right when the bar opened. We had some drinks, then put ourselves on the list to eat at the restaurant when that opened. The soup of the day was eh (a bit over spiced) but the fish & chips was great (and huge!). I definitely recommend sharing if you’re getting the fish & chips.

We had dinner in the bar downstairs and the burgers we ordered were great! Tip: arrive soon, otherwise like everything else in Portree will be fully booked during the busiest months of the year. Highly recommended!

We had dinner and came early to avoid the queue. The haggis, the mussels and the steak were delicious! The staff was friendly. We waited a little to get our plates but the restaurant was full.

Honestly wasn't sure what to expect. Service at the bar was a little slow but I was pleasantly surprised by dinner. The food was great, I had the Duck breast special my girlfriend had the Cajun chicken sandwich both were awesome.

In a heart of the city center. Packed but such a scotish vibe! It is our favourite pub on the island. Paid 11£ for 2 beers. They dont take reservations for food so be ready to wait a bit to get seted, but well worth it!
