The Isles Inn Pub & Hotel - Portree - Photo album

We were looking for a place to eat on a Tuesday evening but Portree was super busy; had already tried 4 or 5 other places to be told they were fully booked or we could wait outside in the line for a table. The last place we tried recommended the Isles Inn as they don't take bookings, it's first come
Fish & chips were delicious, soup was ok. Really appreciated the friendly & quick service, and the atmosphere is fun. Just be aware that they only serve food after 3pm!
Very very busy evening with only 3 people in the front of house. Super nice pub food for a good price. I was blown away by the hospitality of the staff, very busy because of the rugby match but they had time for everyone and served everyone on time with a smile. Hard to find these days! Chapeau!
Decent pub. I thought the beer tasted nice, but unfortunately could not sample the food due to overcrowding. I watched the World Cup of Rugby which was amusing (not for the locals as Scotland lost). Would happily visit again if I pass back through one day.
This is a great spot for a meal. They have live entertainment on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, but unfortunately I was not there one of those days. The seafood here is delicious, whether the fish and chips or the catch of the day. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Haggis, neeps and tatties were the best I’ve had recently. Pie was excellent as was the burger. It’s busy but has a good vibe. The food is freshly prepared - would highly recommend if you are staying locally and need a good, humble, hearty feed!
Today's soup, beer. Very cheeky sign I found hilarious. Lovely service. Good prices. Didn't eat just popped in for a drink while waiting on the bus. Super close to the buses so it's perfect if you only have a few minutes
Good, fresh food, a variety of local dishes and lots of beverages to choose from. We were very satisfied and enjoyed the cake and the catch of the day! Thanks
My husband and I came in on an early afternoon right when the bar opened. We had some drinks, then put ourselves on the list to eat at the restaurant when that opened. The soup of the day was eh (a bit over spiced) but the fish & chips was great (and huge!). I definitely recommend sharing if you’re
We had dinner in the bar downstairs and the burgers we ordered were great! Tip: arrive soon, otherwise like everything else in Portree will be fully booked during the busiest months of the year. Highly recommended!
We had dinner and came early to avoid the queue. The haggis, the mussels and the steak were delicious! The staff was friendly. We waited a little to get our plates but the restaurant was full.
Honestly wasn't sure what to expect. Service at the bar was a little slow but I was pleasantly surprised by dinner. The food was great, I had the Duck breast special my girlfriend had the Cajun chicken sandwich both were awesome.
In a heart of the city center. Packed but such a scotish vibe! It is our favourite pub on the island. Paid 11£ for 2 beers. They dont take reservations for food so be ready to wait a bit to get seted, but well worth it!
