The staff was nice but nothing much. We waited a bit long for the food, over 30 minutes. The food was delicious though, try the fish and the bread with butter- just amazing. Make a reservation, as they are busy.
Exceptional dining experience! The staff were incredibly welcoming and the food was nothing short of delicious.
Unfortunately, they seated us near the door for breakfast while everyone else enjoyed the cozier inner parts of the restaurant. It took 10 minutes before we were asked what we'd like to dr
Best food in Scotland thus far. We very much enjoyed the soup of the day (carrot), the smoked fish platter (starter) was incredible, the fish of the day (herring) was also wonderful as was the dessert (lemon cream). Our friendly young waiter made the night perfect.
This would be a 4.5 for me. NEED to have reservations! Period. Great, attentive staff! Just know that the menu is seafood heavy. My wife doesn’t eat so just make sure to look at the menu. We had gammon and lamb burger. It was out super fast and hot. Great upscale atmosphere. Music didn’t match decor
Reserved a table online. We really enjoyed the seafood platter as an appetizer. Our main dishes were very tasty. Down side was the lack of service. No mention of today’s specials. Wait staff didn’t stop by at our table after receiving the food. No check in and it was tough to flag someone down for t
Great location, atmosphere. Bread was delicious. Scallops were tasty (2 in a portion). Vegetarian Risotto was hearty in taste and portion size. Husband got the ribeye special, overall good but the meat was buried under salad and various accutromonts.
This was the best meal we had on Skye. The food was delicious. The service staff was working really hard and did outstanding even though they were understaffed that evening, but all in all a really pleasant experience. Make sure you make reservations ahead of time because they are very full!
You just make a reservation which we luckily did. Chris was wonderful- welcoming, funny and gave some great recommendations. The wait staff were nice as well.
We did the duck confit 2 ways started as a meal and added a vegetable. The croquette was good but dry. My husband got the honey mustard glaze
I visited Skye for the Women Won't Wheesht event and enjoyed a beautiful meal in Dulse and Brose. I can recommend the Wild Mushroom Bruchetta and the Lamb Burger. I was delighted to find they'd a decent alcohol free beer in stock too. They could perhaps do with more staff as they were run off their
Pretty good overall. Nothing amazing, just decent.
Really cool interior. Right next to The merchant bar— pretty sure it’s run/owned by the same people. The bartender at merchant is also the bartender for Dulse, so drinks may take a while!
Definitely need a reservation!
