Wonderful place for either a meal or a snack. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the food is all homemade and delicious. After you can spend time looking through all the old clothes and artifacts, which brings back memories of your youth. Well worth a visit if you are down that way.

Awesome little place with some great home made treats. We visit every time we are in Cornwall and would highly recommend it. Lots of collectables/antiques also for sale, a real hidden gem. Love it.

My visits to Olde Penny’s for a pot of tea and a piece of coffee and mandarin sponge cake are my occasional treat to myself. After a stressful week, the friendly welcome and the restful ambience helps the stress slip away

Where shall I start? Well my first visit to Olde Penny's Vintage Tea Room was much more than I expected...apart from the lovely set up of tables with dainty cups and saucers....it was cosy, and was made to feel very welcome. But, not only a tea room, but an extended amazement of vintage memorabilia, most of which is for sale, at very reasonable prices. Ranging from that special vintage dress....to the smallest of vintage ornaments. I was thrilled looking around, discovering items remembered from my childhood. (Gosh, that must make me vintage too!) I spotted a Brer Rabbit book in one of the showcases....loved reading these as a child....I may have to come back and purchase it :-) And, not to mention the home made cakes....was hard to make a decision...another reason to return and try the other varieties...

Quirky shop with a lovely tea room amongst the shop. Homemade cakes where incredible, only 4 stars as the coffee wasn’t barista style which I would of preferred, I think it was more instant coffee that was served, next time a pot of tea can’t go wrong with that!

Love this place. Great home cooked food. Wonderful friendly staff giving great service. Unique location and atmosphere. Used to go about once a fortnight but have been too busy through the summer. Hoping to become a regular again soon.

We had a lovely breakfast today. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming and ladies so friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating for special requirements and even made a drink not on the menu for us. Thank you so very much for a lovely quirky experience. Thoroughly recommend a visit to this lovely little cafe.

So quintessentially British with a kitsch and eclectic atmosphere, you will love a visit here if you're looking for a delicious homemade afternoon tea. After deliberating what to get, we went for the full high tea which is well worth it, as it comes on the stand and if you're worried it will be too much you can always take the leftovers home to enjoy later. The staff were highly attentive, personable and witty and that made the experience even more enjoyable. The whole experience was the highlight of our already fantastic day enjoying the Cornish coastline.

Judy had 7! 7 gluten free cakes! All delicious and good portion size. I had the orange sponge cake with orange cream. So much to choose from. Lots of art and antiques to peruse as well.

A great place to stop for lunch or a cream tea. Judy who runs the place is amazingly good at baking and all the cakes sold are home made. She even does vegan and gluten free cakes. The cafe itself is a marvel with different antiques and second hand items on sale.
