Best fish and chips. We had the posh fish and chips. Mushy peas were piping hot, which was good, so it didn't go cold quickly. Lovely tartare sauce. It was so good that my husband wanted to go back to chippy to tell them how fantastic it was.
Travelled 429 miles today and found this lovely fish and chip shop. Best gluten free batter ever, cleanest fish and chip shop I gave ever been in. The food was 100%, wish I could visit every week, but will definitely be back on our next visit to Scotland
You almost take for granted that a fish and chip takeaway on the coast will be good. We were not disappointed here. This takeaway is small and compact they operate a buzzer system while you wait so the premises do not become crowded, very good idea. I think that with rising costs it is a very good d
Recommended to us as we were holidaying in the area. We phoned our order in in the morning and collected at night. The fish was so incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked! Very large portions so we actually couldn't finish the sides we also ordered although they were very good.
Highly recommended.
Very good fish and chips. Batter very light and tasty, not greasy. Pies and sausages are expensive, compared to Manchester prices, but seem to be in line with other chippies in the area. Chips acceptable, freshly cooked. Good service, i will be back. Probably the best for miles around, not the best
The BEST fish and chips ever!! So fresh and tasty. Highly recommend and looking forward to returning again soon
The fish supper was the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few. Don’t think they cared for my accent though lol the coleslaw is the best I’ve had too
The best fish and chips in Scotland! What a superb find in this quaint little village. The scampi was delicious also. Thanks :)
The best fish & chips I've ever had! Popular place, recommend calling ahead.
Yet again excellent food and service. Shame it's up for sale. Hope new owners keep up the same standards.
