We ordered before 6pm so had 2 main meals for £12. Curry and lasagne. Both were delicious and there was plenty to eat. The staff were all very pleasant and service was great. The main menu prices were reasonable as well and there was a lot to choose from.
We visited this Brewers Fayre as we wanted a soft play to occupy the 2 year old whilst we ate.
The server was very friendly and really kind. The baby made a bit of a mess and I offered to clean it up but the server was having none of it.
Food was okay, they need to learn how to cook steak though.
Soft play is £3.50 with no time limit, or £4 with a hot drink. Babies are free.
Soft play is a good size - a toddler and an older section - no ball pit.
Will definitely visit again during soft play hours.
Nice pub and was glad they could fit us (a party of 10) in at short notice in the kids play area but everything including the tables and all the menus were sticky. Even the ones from outside the kids area. The toliets were unfortunately were disgusting, paper everywhere, broken seat and only 1 toliet in the ladies available, the other had a broken lock. My partner said the men's were the same. The food was good, good value on the kids meals and pudding too.
Good soft play area the kids enjoyed it. Unfortunately there was not enough staff to clear the tables (mess everywhere)or serve at the bar. The staff there run off their feet. But managed to give a smile. I also noticed the cleanliness of the carpet and flooring was very grubby and sticky. It was last time I visited. Such ashame as it's a popular place right next door to a Premier Inn.
The food was pretty good. But the best part was the play area. My son barely left it for 5 minutes to eat some dinner but was there nearly the whole time we were here.
Visit fairly often, today's experience, fairly quiet, food as usual much enjoyed, my birthday, and Jack and Zoe looked after us really well.

Often good food at reasonable price. Especially before six for the meal deal. However it does have some staffing issues so it's pot luck some days on service levels.
Starter and main course only, but both were fine - hot, fresh . . . Couldnt find anything to fault them
Visited this pub for the first time, very good experience! Food was lovely and service 10/10. Couldn’t fault it.
Great place to eat. Our server, Zoe, was excellent. The food was really good. Had the trio of pies. All very tasty. Very reasonably priced.
Lovely meal here staff were accommodating and helpful.
I had the chicken and ribs combo with onion rings and cheesy chips. One word lurvly.
The ribs were tender af chicken was a little overcooked but better that than under lol.
