Best Indian food in town by far. I always try the new ones but always come back! I only get delivery but it’s very tasty, always hot and always on time. 100% recommend
Excellent food. I was visiting from Canada and I was surprised that there was no tip required, a 10pct discount because we picked it up, and two free poppadums and chutney. Definitely recommend this restaurant and would go again
The best curry in Portishead - no question. Exceptional every time and always such lovely staff. Having been to all the others in Portishead, I can absolutely say this is by far the best curry house. The tastiest, most flavoursome food cooked to perfection. The restaurant is also a lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait for my next Ghandi curry!
Absolutely fantastic food! Authentic & tasty. Best Indian food I’ve ever had. Definitely will be going back. Lovely waiter/owners *****
Have dined here a couple of times and on both occasions my partner and I have been delighted with the food and service. We both favour drier curries so I chose the tandoori mixed grill which was very tasty and the mushroom rice which was also cooked to perfection. My partner had chicken shaslik which was also excellent.
A gem in the heart of Portishead .
Fantastic food with great portion sizes. I’ve always lived in Portishead and this has always been the place to get the best Indian food. They are always happy to see customers and achieve great service every time.
Great food for a fantastic price. Wonderful customer service. They are happy for you to stay on your table so you are not rushed to leave for another cover. Recommend you go and enjoy, you will not be disappointed.
Great food, pleasant staff. I ordered chicken sag, the texture and taste were spot on. Freshly made naan was amazing. Quiet Sunday visit, plenty of people popping in for take away.
A perfectly decent curry with the family. Good portions and tasty food. Good to see some menu items if never heard of as well. Pleasant and attentive service.
Like it a lot good food and service staff friendly and helpful went for a meal didn't book got a table straight away not bad prices for the meals will be going again soon
Very nice restaurant. Modern decor and well spaced tables. Good menu selection and competitive prices. Food was very tasty and was serves in good time by very polite and professional staff. Also had coffee with cream to finish, which not all restaurants do in the locality. Also no pressure to finish your meal and conversation to release the table.
Always a good meal at a good price
First time here... Banquet night £15 for Starter..main..side dish and rice/nan. Food was really tasty...freshly cooked..Chicken Chana puri starter was fab..and filling! Main... Partner had sag prawn with extra spice..she loved it..I had prawn madras - was good. Sides dishes were excellent..lentil daal..awesome. Add a £5 bottle of large Bangla and it was a bargain for £20 each. Service was very good also.
Top dollar, not in price, but in service, worth a visit
Why don't you do a set menu for one person, what have you got against single people?
Good food, had the Begun Bahar and the Jhaz Gozt. However the service was WONDERFUL.
We had popped in for dinner after a long drive from north Wales with our 4 month old daughter.
The staff fussed over us and our daughter, even holding her so my wife and I could eat our meal without having to do so ourselves. Couldn't speak more highly of them.
I love the Ghandi restaurant. Food is excellent, staff always friendly. Crisp white tablecloths and fresh flowers on the tables. Would definitely recommend.
