Plaice & Chips for five, delivered on time and piping hot. Excellent, good-sized fish, perfectly cooked, crisp batter (not soaked in oil). Chips from good potatoes, also not oily. Top quality - the best.

Used this takeaway twice in two days despite living just around the corner for twenty years. The food is simple but well cooked, the service friendly, welcoming and polite. The pizza is very good. I recommend Picante without reservation.

We've eaten a lot more takeaways over Lockdown than we did before, and this has become our regular. They make great Pizzas at a fair price, as well as the usual British takeaway stuff and others. Their local competition is a bit of a rip-off to be honest, which pushed us to go to Picante in the firs

Beats me why anyone would go and queue in a chip shop when you can have delicious "cod lots" delivered straight to your door! We've been using Pizza Picante since we moved to Portishead a few years ago and we've never been disappointed. By a very long way, they serve the best pizza and fish and chip

I'm so glad I didn't go for fish and chips tonight and I went for pizza . I travel a lot with my work, and want to say that is hard to find a place with such good and tasty italian style pizza, Domino's or pizza hut is not proper pizza and I avoid these as much as possible.
