It's a lovely area for a stroll. There are lots interesting boats. Interesting information about the history of the area. Pubs/ restaurant and coffee stops are available.
I love this marina! It’s got great shops, restaurants and pubs around. It’s very well looked after. The walk around is pleasant and calming.
Lovely marina, lots of great diners, pubs and shops. Very limited general parking, so plan ahead. Many of the eateries have their own parking. Short walk into the thriving town
A beautiful place to visit and its very clean, lots of amenities around. #🇵🇭
Beautiful place to visit. On a hot summers day, having a drink outside one of the local bars/restaurants, it feels like you could be in Majorca. Nice and chilled with not a care in the world
We sailed from Penarth today. Bit choppy but a fine place to visit. First time since COVID. We have missed the atmosphere especially the Sirens Calling. Excellent setting and a good use of Brunel's handwork. Did you know that the pier at the entrance to the marina was built to accommodate the S
Lovely day to blow the cobwebs away - late March and not surprised to see the lock full of sailors coming in after a morning on the water (six largish sailboats with adult crews - still a bit brisk for children out in the flow) and the bakery doing brisk business. The lifeboat was out (manoeuvres o

Fabulous place to go on a sunny day, felt like I was on the Med!
Absolutely stunning! Had a lovely day out here. Had food at the "burger van", which was delicious 😋. Beautiful scenery and we watched boats coming in and out through the locks. Would definitely recommend a visit here.
Clean, fascinating, a great place to stroll and take in the atmosphere. Plenty of bars, resturants and cafés nearby. Benches along the marina to sit and relax. Loads of boats moored in the marina. Great for all ages.
Except for the muddy part, it's a nice place You can enjoy a cold beer sitting in a pub&restaurant there after wandering around the marina..
What a beautiful place to wander around in the sun and to stop for a coffee by the marina edge!
A pleasant place for a stroll. Better still if you're interested in yachts, cruisers and gin palaces. Plenty of cafés and restaurants if you fancy a spot of refreshment. Somewhat bracing when the wind gets up.
I can’t speak highly enough of Sam, Max and the whole team at Portishead. They went far beyond their remit when my boat lost power outside the lock. To say they took care of me would be a huge understatement. Thanks guys you’re very special.
Really lovely place & from the room to the food absolutely excellent, staff very helpful especially the Manager Kaman, who showed us to our room & helped with our cases. Only downside the waitress on the last night got our drinks wrong & overpriced us & we had spoken to a couple opposite & she did t
This is a great place to walk around,it's a very large marina with hundreds of boats to look at of all shape's and size's...It has a massive lock at the entrance for the boats to come and go through out into the Bristol Channel.....The marina is surrounded by high-rise apartments and there are also
A beautiful and busy marina in Portishead. A perfect place to enjoy a stroll on a sunny day, plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from while you watch the boats and people pass by, plus regular events. Parking can be a challenge but you'll usually find street parking within a short walk.
