Brilliant place. Gorgeous fish and chips and staff who couldn't do enough for us. A proper gem. We'll be straight back there when we're in that neck of the woods again.

After a week of aching to come here, we did so after a visit to the railway down the road. We ordered to take away. Fish and chips twice and kids meals. All hot and fresh upon arrival and consumed outside on the benches. Nearly had a free meal but luckily alerted the staff to the mistake and smiles all around. Staff friendly and kind. Safe to say, very impressed and would retun if we were local. Anyone who's nearby I definitely recommend.

Great prices for their meal deal and great options for my fish allergy husband. Shop has lovely Halloween decorations up currently, and their meal deals are varied and seasonal. Very welcoming, quick service out of main season and comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. What's not to like!

The food was nice, prices were reasonable and the homemade tartar sauce was amazing. Staff were quite busy as quite a long queue was due to the warm weather in the summer holidays. Not a lot of room to wait for food but a device was provided to let you know when it was ready to collect meaning you could wander to a nearby shop which was nice. 👍 The seating area outside was filthy though.

You get a good portion of chips, and the fish and chips offer is reasonable value in this tightened times. You can sit in (if there's space) or outside, with no extra charge.

Really nice fish and chips. You know it's a good one when there's a queue outside. The fish and chips were near perfect and the condements such as mushy peas and tartar sauce were really good too. However it is a bit on the pricey side which is expected for the area.

Absolutely gorgeous fish and chips. Fantastic customer service. Brilliant buzzer system where you go in and order and get given a buzzer to hold whilst waiting outside. Speedy service (we ordered 8 meals and it was ready in 5 minutes!) There are some tables inside and some picnic benches outside. We took ours to eat in the nearby park on one occasion and enjoyed it so much we went back. The chips are fantastic and they have a great variety of food on the menu all at a very reasonable price. Lovely staff too!

Great fish & chips, gravy is exceptional! The mozzarella sticks are divine and the mushy peas are top notch! Been coming to Porthmadog for years and would say this is the best fish & chips here! Highly recommend!

My wife and I have eaten fish & Chips in many place's over the the last 50 years in UK and elsewhere, and enjoyed some great meals but the Creel fish and chips lunch and follow up supper were the best Cod and chips we have ever had any where . In many fish and chip shops you can have great cod or plaice - haddock etc but the chips are not quite as good !, in others the chips are fantastic but the fish leaves a little to be desired. In the Creel fish and chip shop in Portmadog in North Wales both the fish and the chips were "superb" and a good size helpings, combine this for a price of £16.50 for 2 seperate boxes of cod and chips, and around £20.00 for the same plus 2 very good coffees. It makes me wish we could move to Portmadog to live!. Great fish and chips, Great low price and really nice people looking after you. I can't coment on their other dishes that they offer as we only had the cod and chips. - "WELL WORTH A DETOUR".

Visited this chip shop twice during our stay nearby, at the request of my daughters. Chips, fish, sausages, mushy peas, curry sauce and gravy all tasted great and we all enjoyed them.

Had cod and small whitefish, all delicious. They have local scampi as well. Super crispy outside with fresh fish. Tried the dandelion&burdock drink also delicious. Highly recommend.

I wanted to leave 4 stars due the portion size being a little on the small side and the cost being a little on the pricey side, but I cant, the food quality was amazing! Probably the best fish and chips we have ever had, everything was perfect and yiur Curry sauce was ridiculously good. Thank you for a good quality tasty meal. I would have provided photos but it disappeared rather quickly lol. Ben
