Great Pub and Hotel situated right on the harbour. It has a large seating area right next to the harbour and a very good covered seating area at the rear.
Staff were excellent, room was very well appointed and very clean. The menu and food was also excellent and sensibly priced.
Wow this pub has just reopened after a huge revamp. The heart has been put back into this vintage pub with it's fantastic position sitting right on the harbour at Porthleven. The bedrooms have all been redesigned and refitted to a truly first class standard. The menu is excellent and the food is divine. The re is a secluded enclosed beer garden to the rear of the premises or you can choose to dine or eat in the garden right on the harbour. Fantastic range of real ales and lagers from St Austell Brewery. Staff all have a spring in their step and a smile on there faces. Lovely. Well worth a visit and a stay. Cornish hospitality at its best and a price you can afford.
We have been to the Harbour Inn most evenings of this week and sat outside taking in the Harbour and sunny evenings, the seating area is expansive and the pop up bar outside as a great idea and also offers Pizza and Garlic Breads, all fantastic.
Last night we treated ourselves to a meal inside the restaurant, ordered a main meal and busy chatting away didn't notice that there had been quite a long wait. The staff did notice though and were very apologetic and chased up the kitchen. Main meal of Fish and Chips and a Steak for the wife was well worth the wait, fantastic! The lovely staff then offered us the dessert for free as an apology for the delay for the main.
Such a lovely venue, the food was very well prepared and tasty. All in all an excellent evening out and very much recommended.
Just had a fantastic stay with lovely food, great rooms & friendly staff, it is well worth a visit, we will go back again, not forgetting Reggie the town cat that visited this morning.

We both had roast dinners (turkey & pork) very generous portion sizes and perfectly cooked!
Lovely lunch in great location. Staff very friendly, good service and dog friendly! Curried cauliflower and roasted chickpea flatbread was delicious!
This was a suitable pub to get a drink from, located by the harbour with outdoor seating! The bar is well-presented, staff were friendly and Cornish ciders are on tap. I had a smooth pint of Cornish Apple Cider, enjoying the shaded table outside!
Quick stop off for a drink. Lovely pub wish we could have spent more time there. Dog friendly which is a plus for us. We will 100% be heading back if we are down that way.
Had a lovely Sunday roast here yesterday. The pub has had a gorgeous refurbishment and is looking great!

Lovely atmosphere and interiors.
Staff were friendly and attentive and food was delicious. One of my favourite places to visit when in Porthleven!
Visited twice for food but always visit regularly for drinks when on holiday.
Breakfast is delicious - faultless.
We also had dinner and again that was delicious. Service was impeccable and even better is that they made a fuss of our dogs and even brought them some sausage when we visited for breakfast.
Anyone that makes a fuss of our dogs is fantastic in our eyes.
Loved this little gem. We had food on several occasions, highly recommend the burger 👌 the food was yummy the service was fast, the atmosphere was great. It was fab to have this kinda place so close to where we stayed that was dog friendly too! Treats and water were available for our 4 legged friends. They also have an a pizza place just across the road and sitting area outside over looking the harbour. A must to go if your in Porthleven.
Nice harbourside pub restaurant. Food is good and well priced. The menu is sometimes limited to say Sundays (mainly roast!!!) But there are alternatives. There's even a veggies meal.
Beer and ciders were cold and refreshing.
It is a busy pub with lots of families, so it's not a quiet place.
Some Saturdays, there is live music 🎶 watch the board outside for posts of what's on.
We walked in out of the rain after a long coastal hike at 4pm and were warmly welcomed and delighted that hot meals were being served. The afternoon bar was a very relaxing, chilled atmosphere. Well spaced out tables. The menu is limited but in this case less is more. The burgers and scampi plates were well presented and delicious. And as for the fish and chips, without exaggeration, the best I have ever had. The freshest fish along with the lightest batter. Attentive service throughout topped off an exceptional experience. Thanks to the Harbour Inn team.
Great place to stay. Rooms clean with comfortable bed. Fantastic to wake up in the morning too harbour views. Great selection for breakfast. Food excellent. All the staff were great and very friendly and helpful. Thanks to very one at the Harbour Inn for a fantastic experience.
Have visited twice this week. A warm welcome from the friendly staff, a nice atmosphere. Great food and a good selection of ales.
