Amazing owners, food and staff!!!!!!
we will be back soon as we can :)
We will go again, and again , and again. It has a massive menu of fresh local fish, everything is delicious. The seats are very comfortable, which is important because you will stall there ages eating!
Delightful hidden gem we will definitely be returning

We love this place and make sure we visit every time we are back in Porthleven! Make sure you book!
Looking forward to
Eating here again in September
With décor that's part nautical, part retro diner, SeaDrift feels fresh, warm and inviting. The staff were lovely too - each incredibly helpful and hospitable, very well suited to the venue. Clearly a popular place for both locals and tourists, there was a steady stream of customers throughout our visit, but then, with the cafe currently featuring as number one on Tripadvisor for Porthleven, I expected the food to be good. What I didn't expect, was one of the worst cases of food envy I've had in some time.
Great little 'cafe' in Porthleven. Called in for lunch with the wife, and it's so much more than a cafe. A really extensive menu, majoring on fish (obviously) but catering also to meat and vegetarian tastes. Quite small-about 30 covers, but this means great, friendly service. We both went for the lunchtime 2 course special at 18.95, which included a choice of 3 starters, and 4 different mains. Also included was a glass of wine. Wife had tempura squid followed by duo of local fish, I had garlic prawns then shellfish tagliatelle. Got tempted by the desserts, so finished with Creme Brulee and Affogato. Absolutely superb - highly recommended
Small intimate seafood restaurant. Lovely friendly personal service. Large portions of seafood at a very reasonable price. We were brought an amuse bouche and the water for the table was flavoured with cucumber, which was a lovely touch. We had the black pepper squid rings which were delicious. Then for mains I had the John Dory which was cooked perfectly and accompanied by a large slice of Dauphoinause potatoes and some herby seasonal veg and a fantastic champagne sauce. The monkfish and risotto was also very tasty and moist and again a very generous portion.
For a small intimate restaurant this felt warm and welcoming and they delivered on taste and service
Excellent food and service. We were slightly tricky diners with me being pregnant and my fiancée being vegan, but the chef was more than happy to adapt recipes and cater to our needs. Delicious and highly recommend visiting if you are in / near Porthleven!
Absolutely stunning food - simple but delicious. I recommend the brownie and pavlova desserts, they were fantastic. Staff lovely too - a real gem.
Couldn't get in here the last time we visited so made sure we booked well in advance for our next visit to Porthleven. After eating here, it is clear to see why you have to pre book. Every course was cook to perfection and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about what was on the menu. I'd highly recommend the champagne sauce with any of the fish amd the pavlova for dessert. We will be booking here again for our visit next year.
Such a wonderful restaurant with so many tasty dishes. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Good wine list.
Amazing food, small and friendly. Definitely book in advance.
