It's the location that wins out for this place. Superb views over Rest Bay and a large balcony to enjoy them from. Good selection of food and drinks served throughout the day. Service was good, although there can be a bit of a wait at busy times. Food is nicely presented, quite expensive and portions not overly generous. I had veggie breakfast and the vegan sausage was excellent, but the Tofu under-seasoned.

Seemingly popular Cafe above Porthcawl Surf School. Went for breakfast, arrived at 11am & had to wait 45 minutes for food, this is the 3rd visit that we have experienced these wait times for breakfast. Breakfast items were a little pricey for average standard food, but lovely views from the balcony & staff were friendly & on top of the cleaning between customers.

My elderly father cannot walk too far and finds the lift a godsend. Clean and tidy restaurant. Young staff were busy and attentive. My father had a sandwich which had plenty of filling and was tasty. A great view on a sunny day

Love this place when I am back visiting Dad. It is a perfect setting, with fabulous service and excellent food. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble and they always serve with a smile. A must visit if you are in Porthcawl whatever time of year you visit.

A gentle Easterly caused the waves to "hang". Surfers carved white ribbons along the emerald blue faces of white crested swells. In the far distance, Sker point began to show its majesty, as the tide began its ambling retreat. Park Runners smiled and sweated and shimmered and shuffled. We smiled back in admiration of their endeavour. The cafe loomed. A beacon upon a hill. Surveying all below. The coffee was warm and tasty, the Egg Benedict delicious, all supplementary to a stunning view. As we left to walk the coastal path back to town I felt a tap on my shoulder and a voice whispered in my ear ...... son take a good look around. This is your hometown"

Staff were friendly, helpful. Food was very nice. Amazing views. My only thought was the selection of vegan food was very limited, ok if you like a bean chilli, I had a vegetarian burger which has goat cheese in it. Looking forward to seeing the vegan breakfast in the morning

A great place to sit and look down towards the beach on a sunny or stormy day. Good choice of food and drinks all reasonably priced. Very helpful and friendly staff. Go in the morning and try their full breakfast...DELICIOUS 😋 This time it was just a cuppa and a slice of cake.

Amazing views from the terrace which gives sufficient shelter from the wind expecially on blustery but dry days. Good selection of food & drink either for lunch or just a coffee/cake. Plenty of indoor seating too for wet weather days.

Very nice fresh chicken salad for lunch (wasn't very hungry) and it was lovely. Husband had scampi and chips and enjoyed that too. First time here, will come again.
