Asked if my husband and I could share a foot long sub and told "no problem as it will automatically be cut in half". Great!
I then asked if it was possible to have two tap waters, told i would be given cups so we can help ourselves from the machine". Amazed to be charged £1.49 EACH!
Whilst I appreciate the paper cups cost money ( which I obviously would pay for) and Subway is not a charity but £2.98 for water.
Coincidentally went to a Harvester today, same machine dispensing water........FREE!
The staff were very busy BUT NOT ONCE WAS A TABLE WIPED OVER DURING THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE.
Ordered a foot long to share with hubby and no quibbles about the slightly different salad asks on either side. Also cut in half and wrote on the wrapper whose was whose without being asked. All with a smile. Thank you
It is a great place to stop and have something quick and tasty for lunch. A great selection of subs and salads are available. Staff are really helpful and friendly customer service.
Had a salad two a weeks ago, which was stunning, had one in Parc plaza last week which was a let down, so returned to Porthcawl where a staff member Liam again made incredible salads. Nothing was too much trouble, patient and polite, and again salads (2) were stunning. Thank you Susan (Manager of Pavilion Court flats)
Was welcomed and served by a lovely young lady believe her name was Chloe. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Always a pressure to visit.
This is a brilliant Subway with very helpful staff. Even though Subway is marketed at a younger generation, and by some we are thought to be seniors, we really feel welcome and well provided for. The toilets are always clean and well kept with easy ground floor access. The manager of this particular franchise goes out of her way to improve customer experience and as such this is not our first visit and hopefully we'll have occasion to visit soon. A positive addition to Porthcawl eateries that shouldn't be dismissed by the older generation. Thank you.
My sister and myself felt a bit peckish and opted to go into Subway. Staff were very polite and the service was quick. We opted for a meal deal which at £4.00 was very reasonable. The salad options were good and fresh. Well done.
Food was great and so was the service nothing to complain about it's an amazing food place I definitely recommend if you love sandwiches there are a lot of good Verity of food
I've just come back from this fabulous Subway and I'd like to thank Catherine and her wonderful staff for keeping my purse safe. A HUGE thank you to the person who handed it in. You really are an angel. You restore my faith in human nature. My subway could have cost me a whole lot more than it did if my purse was lost! 😉😊
Subways have so much healthy choice at absolutely brilliant prices. Don't take my word for it so try it yourself. I wouldn't go anywhere else 😄
Friendly and helpful staff, hand sanitiser on the way in. No sitting inside, limited seating outside, also no access to the toilet but public toilet short distance away which is open until 5 PM.
