I paid £23 for a large COD and chips, a fish cake and chips, a side of curry sauce and also two 500ml bottles of Diet Coke. The price seemed very reasonable for such large portions. Me and my partner were very full afterwards.

Franco's Fish Shop is a lovely place to enjoy beautifully cooked fish and chips or anything they have on the menu. Either sit in or take away it is excellent food. Fish was lovely. No complaints, could perhaps have been a little bigger for a large. But it was fresh and cooked perfectly. They usually come with skin on. But we're happy at request to cook fresh with no skin. So thank you. Chips were average, but no complaints.

Lovely fish and chips, cooked to order, no queue when we arrived for takeaway around 5pm during school summer holidays. Very large portions - two large cod and two large chips was more than enough for a family of four. All the food was great, especially the cod (very light, crispy batter), mushy pea

Great place with a decent sized area to eat in. Food was a little stale- guess it had been under the hot plate for a while on a quiet Monday lunchtime but otherwise no complaints

Best fish and chip shop in Porthcawl! Fish cooked fresh to order, the most beautiful flaky cod with golden crispy batter, and delicious hot chips. Definitely recommend if you're looking for fish and chips not far from the sea front.
