Absolutely lovely fish and chips, batter was beautifully crispy. Friends enjoyed the Philly Cheesesteak, curry and fish platter. Despite being busy, service was fast.

One of the greatest meals I’ve ever had! My partner and I were visiting Wales for the day and decided to visited the Globe for a meal. And we both came out having had one of the best culinary experiences of our lives.
For starters, I had the Prawns, while my fiancé chose the Mozzarella Stick, both of which were incredibly fresh, and were loaded with flavor. The Mozzarella was so fresh, it had a long pull when you tore it apart. Where as the Prawns were crispy and juicy, with every bite being a delight.
For the mains, I had the Loaded Sizzler Chicken Burger special, which was seasoned to perfection, excellently presented, and well portioned. You could tell the chicken was well marinated with the Cajun spices, which complemented the juiciness of the meat. My partner opted for Gammon special, topped with barbecue sauce, pineapple and cheese with a side of chips. Her Gammon was beautifully tender and tangy, with the saltiness of the meat, mixing incredibly with the Barbecue sauce and Pineapple topping. The cheese was the crème de la crème of the meal. Most dishes when you add cheese can be overbearing, but this dish perfectly benefited from the added cheese.
Shoutout to Chef Dewi Howells and his team for their incredible work and the wonderful bar staff for being attentive and welcoming myself and my fiancé for one of the best dining experiences ever!
Great food and service, wish id been in the bar - sounded great! I also liked the trough urinal. Ill go again and would recommend 100%
Visited here for food today and was very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Also pet friendly with lots of seating available in the beer garden to the rear of the premises.
Came here for a quick stop as was hungry, glad we came little gem, quiet, very nice atmosphere, Staff very friendly, food came very quick and was delicious, would visit again if I was in the area
Not been here for a while, & the most recent visit was for the Sunday Carvery.
There was a reasonable choice of Vegetables after the server provides you with the meat, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, pigs in blankets roast & mash potatoes.
We would return again if in the area.
The food and the service was great. We booked a table of 9 last minute and there was no issue in finding us seating. The whole family enjoyed the food, drinks, and atmosphere. We would have stayed longer but had to get leave to get the young kids to bed. Will definitely visit again.
Rang last minute to see if there was a table available to book. Luckily there was. Food was amazing!! Utterly fantastic would visit Bridgend again just to eat here!! 2 Philly steaks, one steak with pepper corn sauce, all day English breakfast and a think it was called pick n mix of sea food which was divine!!
We had three meals here in September 2023 whilst staying at the Trecco Bay Holiday Park. The first two were spot on but the Fish & Chips meal let the side down. The fish was all batter & very little fish.
We would still recommend this place & would return if in the area.
Stayed here for the Elvis weekend and it has been fantastic, the staff are impeccable, great with children and work really well. The facilities are fab and we will be returning. Food was delicious!
