What a gem of a find on a side street off the waterfront in Porthcawl. Amazing food at reasonable prices. Pretty busy for a Tuesday night in August too. We ate prunes wrapped in bacon. Baked Brie. Steak. Braised beef. Salmon. Apple pie cheesecake to die for. Lemon tart. White profiteroles. And great wine. Lovely and friendly staff.

Lunchtime service. Ridiculously good food, happy staff and great value. An easy 5 stars, thank you. Highlight: the paté was made less that 10m from our table and was outstanding.

Found this little gem on a wet and windy Tuesday in Porthcawl and very glad we did! We had the 2 course lunch menu for £13.95 and it was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was delicious and a lovely atmosphere too.

Who would have thought it? An inconspicuous restaurant in 'back street' Porthcawl but a fantastic venue nonetheless. The food was great and the service was efficient and attentive without being intrusive. Well done Isabella's. It's a shame we live 100 miles from Porthcawl and can't visit regularly!

Visited this place on a recommendation from a friend. We went about 1230hrs on a Friday. On arrival, we were immediately asked if had booked a table ( which we hadn't). However, the wonderful staff found my wife and I a table. We opted for the 2 courses for £13.99 special. We found the staff amazing. Swift, polite and very knowledgeable about the menu. I opted for Portuguese chicken wings to start, my wife had Prawn cocktail. For my main I chose pork loin with pepper corn sauce, my wife went with the waitress advice and had the Beef Stroganoff. All 4 meals were AMAZING!! We intend to go back to Porthcawl just we can experience an evening at Isabellas and this time we'll be ordering off the main menu. Thanks to all the staff who got my wife's birthday weekend off to an amazing start. See you again soon.

Lovely meal tonight. We found this place by chance. So glad we did! Food and service superb. Staff went above and beyond. Food was delicious! We had a £14.95 starter and main menu. Prawn cocktail, salmon gravadlax, pork loin in pepper sauce, piri piri chicken served with saute potatoes and veg. Food was delicious!

First class restaurant. Great food attentive staff, authentic atmosphere. Try to book your place, it was busy even on a weekday afternoon. No surprise there a real jewel in Porthcawl.

Discovered this by chance on a Weds date night. What a gem! Lovely atmosphere, very friendly warm and attentive staff. Lots of smiles and relaxed but that did not mean slow in terms of service. The menu was a good selection but we went for the 14.95 two course menu. I can say it was very delicious, flavourful, the mussels we both had for starters were cooked to mouth watering perfection. Partner had the rump and described it st melt in his mouth. I had peri peri chicken. Full of zingy flavour and very tender. Meals came with roasted potato chunks in a separate serving dish, likewise with a selection of green vegetables. We were both very impressed with the quality of the food and service here and will def revisit to try other items of the menu.

Isabella's is a lovely Portuguese & Tapas style restaurant on a street just off the promanade, as soon as you walk in you know that you have come somewhere special and the excellent decor with old beams and great decoration really make you comfortable. The choice of food is amzing with some really great dishes on offer that make choosing really difficult. We have been many times and it is always lovely

Absolutely love this place. My father and I try to eat there once a week. The lunch menu is excellent and you feel that you are in the middle of some Mediterranean bar, surrounded by the smells of garlic and citrus. Best restaurant in porthcawl

Wow this place totally exceeded our expectations. Amazing fresh and perfectly cooked food and fantastic service. I had garlic mushrooms for starter and salmon for main. My husband had muscles for starter and steak for main - best meal we’ve had out in ages. 100% recommend trying this place. Such a lovely restaurant and the atmosphere was fab. Felt like we were in Spain.
