Really FANTASTIC fish and chips here I don't ever remember enjoying fish and chips so much, definitely up there with the best ever..Would 100% recommend a visit to Beales when you come to Porthcawl. Little tip, try to get a table inside the restaurant as opposed to near the front door as the door do
Popped here with the family today. The fish was absolutely delicious but would have preferred the chips to have been cook a little longer. Staff were great and everything fairly priced
Went here last Sat (12/08/23),with my wife, daughter and her partner. I didn't eat but the other 3 did. Food looked OK but it was a bit pricey. We ate in so maybe the take away part downstairs may have been cheaper?
Absolutely gorgeous fish and chips. Chips were fresh and thick. The fish was amazing. Lovely thick cod and very good, well cooked batter. Only improvement would be home made tartar or creamy tartar in a pot rather than sachets. Thanks guys.
The best fish & chips I've had in a very long time. Cooked fresh. Crispy batter. Good portion size. 5🌟
Great food, freshly cooked, and plenty of portions! Loved their Irish curry sauce. It was very busy which tell you it's a great place to eat. They had a restaurant part too and busy.
Great fish and chip shop very clean staff friendly and attentive, we ate in my haddock and chips was excellent batter perfect very thin and crispy. My wife had faggots peas and chips the faggots were homemade or quality butchers the mushy peas were excellent. Thank you this will definitely be our go
Best chippy in Porthcawl by far. If you're down that way check it out. Been going there for years, still top of range! Clean and tidy place with friendly staff and super fast service. Can't fault it!
We went to porthcawl for few hours to have some fun and some dinner. So we had a really nice meal at beales fish bar. The staff was really nice and helpful too.
Literally the best chip shop in Bridgend area by far. The chicken goujons in the restaurant are to die for. So so so so tasty. Would not go anywhere else for food. If i could give it 10 stars i seriously would. 😀 My grandparents have been a loyal customer of Beales for at least 20yrs or more and has
Had a takeaway fish and chips last night. Lately thought it’s not been up to its usual High standard. But last night was superb back to the best in Porthcawl. Tell summer’s arrived portions down s little.
The fish and chips at Beale's are likely the best in Porthcawl. The choice of fish is great, and the preparation time for take out is excellent. The service is okay. I've worked in the service industry (still do to an extent), and upon returning to the car, I shared my opinion to my wife: "the staff
Nice and tastey Fish and Chips at reasonable price . , Good customer service. Limited parking infront of the shop
We are from Birmingham on holiday in porthcawl, I saw this place as I was driving past. We decided to give it a try, I can honestly say it was the best piece of fish I've tried in wales. Thank you so much we will definitely be coming back
Everybody I've spoken to really rates this place, and I can see why. For traditional fish and chips, you just can't beat it. Their staff are friendly, families are welcome, and the food is fantastic.
This is our go to chippy in Porthcawl. Never disappoints. Although on this occasion they didn't have my favourite Haddock but the Cod was lovely and white and the best batter around.
Had cod and chips and plaice and chips. Both fish cooked while I waited. Lovely fish, nice crispy batter, good chips and good portion size. Best fish and chips I've had for a long time.
Fish and chips perfection. Staff friendly. Clean and tidy. Quite busy on Saturday, food served quickly and correctly. Shame no one came to check if everything was OK, kids had finished drinks so had to get up to order more. Needs more toilets. Other than that, recommended.
