Just been to Sam and Brenda's wedding at The Wild Duck and OMG I could not fault this place. The venue is amazing, the food was best wedding food I have ever had and the staff were so attentive, helpful and courteous. Who ever is running this place is doing an excellent job. Keep it up. Well done to all concerned.
Went yesterday with a friend for lunch. Had a beautiful meal served by lovely staff in great surroundings. Would definitely recommend this place and was well worth the journey from Belfast.

We recently held our wedding here and we had an absolute ball! So many people complimented on the beautiful room and gorgeous food. The service was second to none and Eileen and Odhran could not possibly have done any more for us. Staying on late to help with decorations and even using their own spare time to get things sorted for us. We are very grateful to them and the staff for helping to make our day so memorable. Was at my friend's wedding on Saturday and omg what can I say the place was amazing and the food was 5 star never tasted wedding food like it the workers went out of there way to help u. I would deffo recommend it as a wedding venue. And even a pop in for grub. X deffo 5 outta 5
Went here for dinner with my partner as we were staying at the chalet beside the river. The food can be a hit or miss when going to a pub restaurant but this was a real surprise.
We shared the mushrooms for a starter and had the sea bass and the steak for mains which were both great, got half portions for dessert each to finish off the dinner.
The portions were generous and the half portion desserts looked like full portions. We left feeling full and satisfied with the meal. Would return if we were in the area again.
We had our wedding at The Wild Duck in Feb 23. Eileen, Shay and all the team were great and took away so many headaches when it came to planning a wedding from afar. On the day everyone was really attentive without being intrusive, and made the whole day thoroughly unforgettable. Special thanks to Kieran who couldn't have been more accommodating. The venue looked amazing and had a really special atmosphere - our guests were blown away. The food was superb and all our guests enjoyed themselves. Passed manys a time on the way to Belfast, finally stopped after a family reminiscence of 20 years ago. It was worth it. Friday specials of steak and burger were well presented and very tasty. Definitely coming back for more. Chicken Maryland next time!
Held a engagement party at the smaller function room and could not recommend the place more. Bar was a reasonable price, food was delicious and everyone had an amazing time! Extra special thank you for letting us come down early and set up balloons and cake
Very slow service,had to go look for someone to attend to us. Then sent upstairs to more of same. It was quiet what were they doing. Eventually we were given a menu and asked if we wanted a drink. We ordered a drink then waited a good while on it arriving. A girl then came took our food order.
Food was excellent very tasty I had pan fried wild chick with champ,seasonal veg.. broccoli, cauliflower and carrots
Son had wild duck burger salted chips he said burger was very pink,some like some don't he was fine with it.
Coffee mine a cappuccino fine
His a white coffee with a skin on it,he had to remove the skin with his dinner knife,no sugar or tea spoons offered..

We stayed for a night in the Riverbann Retreat who recommended us to this place it was so good we came twice.
All 4 different meals were phenomenal and the service was excellent.
Roast Duck was our top pick if there was one.
