A lovely spot for your afternoon cuppa. Baked goods made in-house or donated by volunteers. The folks running the place are all very kind and prices are incredibly reasonable. Cash preferred, especially if you also plan to get some postcards for your visit to the church. Reminds me of home.
Quaint tea room attached to the church. We had cakes, tea and coffee. The cakes were superb. The place seems to be run by volunteers and it gave a friendly and wholesome vibe. Was very glad we stopped there - a bit of a hidden gem to be honest.
You can eat in the tea room or in the back of the attached church. I recommend the latter!
My husband and I have been to the tea rooms on our own and with friends. Would thoroughly recommend them. One of the best I've ever been in, especially as it's run mainly by volunteers. They're amazing. Hence, it's so reasonably priced. Planning on going there tomorrow and Saturday. Very good, dogs are allowed.
Recently visited here. Staff are lovely and friendly and work hard.
We both had a generously filled roll which was delicious. We also had a cake and they too were lovely along with tea. The prices are so reasonable. Lovely sitting outside. Will definitely return. It is nice to support the church.
Great service from friendly Team. Lovely food. Against a backdrop of 14 hungry cyclists descending on the Tea Room at lunchtime. We will definitely return. Thank you so much.

Gotta get yourself down there....homemade cakes scones and pies as well as fantastic coffees and tea's and let's not forget the amazing volunteering staff that put it all together.....you won't be disappointed there all so nice and friendly.......go on give it a whirl......
The people who work here are mostly volunteers and the food is served with love and is very good. The people are really friendly and will not hesitate to talk to you about the history of the church and community.
What a fabulous little tea room! Run by the most delightful, friendly and helpful staff. All the cakes are home made and very tasty they looked too. The prices are not what you'd expect from tea rooms these days...it was amazing value, so cheap. Wish we'd ditched the picnic and eaten from here instead! Sorry we bought up all your scones yesterday, we've just had them for tea and they were some of the best I've eaten! As we were leaving, chef was busy making more. I'd highly recommend you pay a visit.
Great find. Lovely cafe offering reasonably priced, home made food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, we will be back
We regularly use the tearoom as it's convenient, the food is excellent and the staff very friendly
Very nice little tea room, not much food left when we got there but never mind.
Very disappointed with my Toasted Teacake as it was as black as the ace of spades, Cremated! I couldn't and wouldn't eat it like that, so I took it back and asked for another, to be fair this time the young man kept looking at the toaster to make sure the teacake didn't go black.
However it was black again but Not as bad.
And there was another Lady there who also had a Burnt Teacake as she showed me the back of it, but didn't bother to take hers back.
I think They Need to Invest in a New Toaster, or toast it under a Grill would be more fitting.
As the saying goes, If you don't tell them they can't put it right!
