A group of friends and I met up to play some Magic: The Gathering and hangout. The four of us were there for a few hours, and everything we ordered tasted great. The staff were super nice and accommodating, and the place itself is gorgeous. We'll definitely be back! Update: For a few months now myself and a few friends have met once a week at Ground, and have always had a great time. The sandwiches and toasties are delicious, the range of cakes and buns incredible, and the drinks to die for. I personally recommend the Mocha with a slice of Lemon Drizzle cake.

Friendly, professional efficient staff. Great decor in lovely restored pump house overlooking the bann. Clean and well maintained. Accessible parking and toilet. Food and coffee are grand: similar quality to most small or medium sized chains decent quality but nothing too exciting.

The building was originally a pump house for pumping sewage across the river. Built in 1929. As a coffee house it’s a bit tight for space inside but good space outside looking over the river bann. Typical ‘Ground’ menu with good selection of sandwiches and traybake so shouldn’t be any surprises if you know the franchise. Works well as a stopover for walkers and cyclists.

Ground Espresso Portadown is situated in a prime location literally on the periphery of the town centre yet in a picturesque, peaceful spot right beside the River Bann. There is limited car parking onsite including parking for the disabled, with ramp access to the cafe. Good selection of food and tray bakes.... coffee is excellent and their barista staff obviously know what they are doing. Certainly worth a visit, particularly on a clear sunny morning. One can sit out on their patio which is a sun trap, catching rays from early morning well past lunchtime.

Coffee is usually good at Ground, this was no exception. Quirky building backing on to the River Bann with some outdoor tables overlooking the river.

It doesn't go unnoticed when staff choose the big sandwich for you (big shout out to Ellie) Very friendly and chatty like every coffee shop should be. Great atmosphere.

My wife and I called into to this little cafe May day 2023 whilst out for a run on our motorcycle. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious at extremely low prices. Vegetarian options if desired. The seating area outside looks over the River Bann which offers a walk along side the river. This cafe is a gem and a must if you're visiting Portadown. 5 stars. Ps The cakes are beautiful!

In Victoria Square shopping centre in the middle of Belfast. Friendly service, plentiful food of the hi-carb (delicious!) variety - and chairs/tables outside! A great place to sit, watch the world go by, and feel contented with life! Recommended!
