This family run restaurant really is top end. The food is fresh and fabulous plus the new look interior is another reason that makes Star of India stand out from the crowd. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s perfect.

Claire (the misses) and i just love going to the star of India whenever we can, we travel from lurgan to here passing many other Indian restaurants on our way, each meal we have had here has been unreal truly unique, chicken tikka masala being a favourite with me, and the paswary nam is a must !!. The staff are genuinely friendly and very helpful. We will have many happy satisfied trips to the star of India in 2017

First class Indian food. Nothing too much trouble for the friendly staff. My favourite dish is chicken biryani with green chillies served with rajasthani sauce. Always good to finish off with a gin and tonic served with fresh green chillies.

This has to be my favourite Indian around. Food is served to perfection, great flavours. And the staff are extremely friendly and very welcoming. It's great to see how they demonstrate their serving expertise to junior staff.

Nice clean premises, food was tasty and piping hot. Staff friendly and attentive. My only criticism is the portions are slightly smaller than most. Well worth a visit though and will go again.

Great Indian restaurant/ takeaway in the centre of Portadown. Ample car parking in the surrounding area. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Prices are reasonable and you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer if you desire. There's a number of bars close by if you wish to make an evening of if. 5 stars from me.👍
