This was our first time at the Brit. The food was delicious probably one of the best meals out we’ve had in a long time. We had a waitress couldn’t do anymore for us she was so friendly and when asked which gin to go for she recommended the cherry bakewell. I would highly recommend the steak it was so soft good portion size and the cheese board was the best I’ve had. Well done Brit we will be coming back again!!

Had a beautiful afternoon tea here yesterday for my daughter's 21st birthday. Fantastic place and staff were so friendly. Would strongly recommend the cocktails in teapots, we tried them all and couldn't pick a favourite. Food was fresh and delicious, and plenty of it. Trying to coax my 14 yr old son it's the place to have his birthday outing. Will definitely be back. X

Friendly service & lovely food and drinks! Can't fault the place at all having visited with friends and family on at least 10 occasions. Best pub in Port Talbot without doubt.

Went to The Brit for a themed Beaujolais Day meal, which was just delicious. I’m Gluten Free, and all the staff were extremely helpful and attentive, making sure that I had as much choice and variety with the menu as everyone else on my table. They also hold a great stock of Gins - I went for the Rhubarb Gin with Ginger Ale, which was devine. Highly recommend The Brit

Having left the Brit back in may to relocate with my young family to Dorset it was the only reason I left. It was an absolute pleasure to work with such lovely people, two owners who put their heart and soul into the pub and it was an amazing experience to help lead the kitchen team for nearly two years and I enjoy hearing the constant great feedback the pub continues to get. I’m sure it will continue to go from strength to strength with Phil Heidal and Gemma at the helm along with the amazing staff I was lucky enough to work with and pick up more awards for the experiences they love to put on. I wish you all well as always, it’s the place that will live with me for years to come with what I was lucky enough to help achieve with you amazing guys and girls!!! There is no place around the area that compares to the Brit.Keep up the amazing work I shall be back for a surprise visit in the future!!!

What a beautiful Sunday lunch today. Apart from mine and my late grandmother, lol, the best I have had. Plenty of everything and great variety. I will be back.

Really great staff, very friendly and helpful, managed to get a table on a Friday night which was a bonus. Food was great and loads of vegan options (separate menu). Definitely would go again

Met some friends here for lunch. We chose it based on good reviews on trip advisor, and it didn't disappoint! Beautiful food and drink (chicken in Parma ham was particularly gorgeous and they have a great choice of gins - I would recommend the pineapple). The staff were friendly and very helpful. I liked the decor and the beer garden overlooked the river which was very pretty. There is a set menu which is good value. They do play music but it didn't overshadow the conversation and added to the welcoming atmosphere. Lovely experience.

I've not been here for a few years, but popped in for Sunday lunch last week. It was devine! The smell of home cooking drifted to the door to greet you and got my mouth watering straight away! The soup was delicious, the lamb dinner with a side of cauliflower cheese sublime, and the apple crumble mouthwatering! The atmosphere was so welcoming and genuine. A true delight to visit!xx

This destination pub is a lovely place for an evening meal. It does feel special and worth the journey and will be returning ... However, I will be avoiding a night that has live music on. This made it very awkward for me with the noise and to get to the toilet, as the crowd was nearly pouring into back end of the pub. I did enjoy my evening until the live music started because it did make conversation very difficult. Food itself was beautifully presented and tasted amazing! My only complaints would be that the start prawn starter needs larger or more prawns, with some sort of sauce for the bread. I was also wondering where the rest of the duck breast went? The service was great and very welcome, while always making sure we were well looked after!

Very friendly pub-restaurant with good beer, wine, food and a garden. Various dishes are available including a traditional afternoon tea. A small car park is on site and there is further street parking nearby. Accessible for wheelchair users. We thoroughly enjoyed a private lunch party here.

The food was exceptionally good for the price which was very reasonable. Staff friendly and attentive. This pub is very close to where we live so we plan to return often. Only one problem, everything on the menu sounded delicious. We shall just have to work our way through it.

JOE is a good lad, he's very friendly and accommodating. The vegan and Vege menu is very appreciated as it's the same size as the regular menu and not just an after thought. I had the goats cheese and cranberry hot sandwich and it was beautiful.....very nice to be there. Popular pub.
