Just spent seven nights with a work colleague while carring out maintenance at a nearby distillery. We were made most welcome by the owners and staff. Marion, Ian and staff were a hive of local information and help which was greatly appreciated. The selection and quality of food was excellent.

Just taking the ferry out, stopped in at the store, but limited selection (not surprising for the location). Nice grounds for waiting for ferry though. Enjoy it!
Five stars as you get what you pay for. Which is 400-year-old family run hotel on the shore of an island on the Hebrides. If your idea of contentment is a travel lodge please look further. Character & panache aplenty. The full Scottish breakfast will set you up for the day and I kid you not I’ve see

Popped in for a quick bite while hubby and I were waiting on the ferry. We ordered a cheesburger each, chips and a side salad to take away. Burgers were very nice as were the chips salad, wasn't that great but was fresh. Staff behind the bar were lovely and friendly. Kitchen was very busy that night

Amazing dinner. Cannot recommend the seafood platter enough (the Cullen Skink and Sticky Toffee Pudding were also very tasty). Both the owners and chefs were really really friendly and the chefs exceptionally gifted! Cannot wait to return.
Visited here for the Islay festival and was blown away by the food and atmosphere of this place. Arrived a couple of hours before booking opened and was directed to the drinking area by a lovely lady called Marion for a couple of drams to recover from the long (and sleepless) drive up from Bedford.
While waiting for the ferry we had a drink and the cheeseburger. I was pleasantly surprised since they are in a position to do the high price low effort thing. But they don't. The price is alright and the burger was tasty. The service is fast and friendly and of course the small harbor ambiance outs
Charming hotel with friendly and attentive staff. The pub is delightful with an amazing selection of whiskies. The food here is much better than it needs to be (we had breakfast and dinner here every day of our stay). Perfect location right at the Port Askaig ferry and bus stop.
We visited just for dinner while wait for the ferry. Their appearance and space are not so cool but their local scallop dish is so lovely. The ingredients are so fresh and rich. And cooking was perfect. We only had just one dish but can expect the other seafood dish will be the best also.
