Patisserie Mark Bennett - The Bakehouse

Quite honestly the best pastry I've ever eaten, no exaggeration. Went in for a croissant late in the day so there were none left, the lady told me they had apple and cinnamon cronuts though so I tried one. I expected it to be a bit dry as it was late in the day so had likely been out for a while, and expected it to just have a hint of apple cinnamon flavouring but wow, it was soft and squishy and a little crisp with sugar on the outside, and was filled with like apple pie filling. I could truly eat these everyday, highly highly recommend!

Recently organised a corporate lunch with PMB and I have to say it was first class. It was a seamless order process, easy online payment and prompt delivery. The quality of the food was excellent with everyone commenting on how delicious it was. Will definitely be our go to now for all our business catering. Thank you

Had a New York deli style bagel with pastrami ham cheese and pickles warmed up, it was excellent. And a millionaires shortbread, that was small, but I still had to eat in two sittings because it was so indulgent and sweet, the caramel layer was so thick! 😍... The sausage roll was only ok but all is forgiven. I will definitely be visiting again.

Visit here very often and there’s one short brown haired lady who I think has recently joined the team. She gives another level of good customer service; she’s smiley and kind even at 7.30am in the morning! The food and hot drinks have always been amazing but this pleasant attitude can make a big difference to the customer experience! Thank you to her especially 😊
