Great place to eat, drink and listen to great music, just one warning, watch out for gulls if you eat outside.

I've been coming to this pub on and off for the past few years. The thing that always draws me back is the live music they seem to always have available and playing. Some bands are more my style than others, but it always seems to be a polite and lively place. Today was no different for the charity event they were holding. I just feel sorry for teddy, He must of been very hot in that weather lol.

Lord Nelson pub on the quay side in Poole, great old pub, you can only imagine the amount of sailor's and people that have been in here over the past couple hundred years. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a big breakfast, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, beans and 2 bread and butter for £5, an absolute bargain.

Badger beers aplenty, a nice pub on the Quay, good food and drinks offering. Interesting guitar display in cases in the bar.

15 of us, adults, dogs and children arrived. We Were met with a friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. All food came out promptly and hot. It was one of the children's birthday. We had a cake and asked if we could sing to her. They were quite happy for us to do this and even provided plates and napkins for us. What a lovely pub .

An absolute classic, great Pub, friendly staff and a good range of beers. A lot of history from both music and military. Dog friendly and even have a doggo menu. Live guitarist on the night I visited. Highly recommended and worth a revisit.

Lovely pub with lovely staff. Poole Quay is awesome enough, but this place had decent live music on the Friday night. Had a great time!

Lovely atmosphere. Nice to see pubs how they used to be. Not been in here since the 80s but certainly will be back. Brilliant. Oh and love the music.
