Great fun to watch the World Cup football this year! Good service and great food, would highly recommend the Chicken Wings or Homemade pate as starters, great burgers or fish available, lots of good homemade food and not expensive. We will keep working our way through the menu whenever we visit! Great venue here and a good place for drinks on the sunny lawn, very popular and busy.

We are fortunate enough to live within a steady 20 minute walk of the Marina. So it only makes sense that we would stop in to the restaurant for a coffee before walking home. Although, as yet, I have not tried it, I am told that they do an excellent breakfast. The coffees, complete with a small wrapped biscuit have always been excellent. On one visit we noticed that they were having a "Spanish" evening. So we asked our friend Tony if he would like to go. We were given the menu to pre-select the dishes we wanted and paid a £5 deposit. I do not remember the choices offered or indeed the choices we made but do remember that the food was plentiful and tasty. The music was provided by two gentlemen with Spanish guitars. They were very accomplished and made the whole evening a lovely experience. So much so that when we saw an advertisement for a Caribbean evening we booked right away. This time we were joined by our friends David and Pauline. The food was Caribbean and the music was supposed to be reggae but in fact was a great mixture of blues, reggae and soul. This was provided by Ant Lewis. A man with a great voice and greater skill on the guitar. The food was once again served in good sized portions and again was tasty and well cooked. The girls had prawn tacos and jerked chicken with rice and peas. David and I had the very spicy sizzling ribs and goat curry and rice. The two large ribs were succulent and "fall off the bone" tender. The goat curry was perfectly spiced and the large pieces of goat melted in the mouth. All in all an excellent meal. Combined with the great, toe tapping music this made an evening to remember. All this for a very reasonable £16 per head. We will be back as they are planning a "French" evening in February, once Christmas is out of the way. Peter & Jean. :o)

We booked a Christmas meal for 4 people and the table was beautifully decorated and the atmosphere was great with a gorgeous Christmas tree and pretty lights. Our food was exceptional, best Christmas dinner we've ever had, plenty of succulent meat and the gravy was sooooo good. Starters and deserts were equally as tasty and presented beautifully. The staff were very friendly and efficient and helped make our evening very memorable. We will definitely be going back for the live music gigs in a few weeks.

Bel pub e bella atmosfera! Specialmente con il freddo che fa ora fuori! Non hanno vini italiani però quelli che hanno non sono male!

Lovely peaceful place! It would be even more stunning if not for the power lines 😢 however the local ducks and swans don’t seem to mind! Nice to place to take some arty pictures

Lovely food, fantastic portions, friendly, polite and helpful staff. Definitely be returning. Probably Hamworthy's best kept secret. Only thing I'd personally like to see would be a better gluten free options as I'm coeliac. However everyone with me also thought the food was fantastic.

Nice marina, fuel a little pricey and use of the slipway prices are ridiculously high. New "managers" are having an impact, time will tell if it's good or not!

Excellent meal from very wide menu. It was very quiet at lunchtime, and that just suited us. Great environment. Good service. We will be returning on a regular basis.

Nice place to relax, I did a nice 20km cycle ride and ended up here for a little rest. It was nice to see some amazing yachts and boats.. to top it off I could see lots of top feeders (fish) they where quite a size .. Very pleasant just to chill and relax, I will definitely make this place one of my stop off points in future. 👍
