What a fantastic Inn, just 5 rooms of which 2 are dog friendly so make sure to book in advance. The food wasn’t just regular pub grub either and was just what was needed after a long day of travelling. The Kofta starter was really tasty and we both opted for the chicken and ham hock pie which came with a separate jug of gravy, the pasty was short (perfect in my opinion) and the chips were not of the frozen variety, also came with cabbage, parsnips and carrot all of which were prepared and cooked a little different to the norm. The staff were all super friendly and to top things off the Inn is within a short walking distance to Branksome Chime beach which was also fantastic and thankfully dog friendly. Being able to have the dog with us was great as so often we have to travel without him, the panting did go on through the entire night though. Fantastic food, perfect location and friendly staff, we will definitely return and maybe stay longer.
We live local, so haven't stayed here. We used to be regulars for lunch, but it 'lapsed', for a while.
Yesterday, I, with my husband, had a 'belated' birthday lunch, which was SO enjoyable. We were welcomed by very friendly staff, and the service was EXCELLENT. The food was cooked and presented = EXCELLENT. We will certainly start to use this restaurant again.
One thing 'NEGATIVE' , PLEASE get someone to WEED the border by the car park, it is NOT a good 'first look'. It looks very 'forgotten'. That is the ONLY negative thing, I would say.
Thank you 🙏
We called in here for a cooked lunch and the all round experience was great. Lovely atmosphere, very welcoming, and great food. Highly recommend. Menu caters for all. The sticky toffee pud was fab.
The roast dinners here are absolutely divine. We even met the chef who makes them! He really cares about the quality and flavours. The staff here too are always so friendly and accommodating. We've been here about 4 or 5 times now and every time it's been a great hit and so cosy inside. The outside also gets a bit of sun so the best of both worlds!
It is a very smart, clean dining area. Dogs allowed. Food presented well. Friendly staff. Good value.
We used to visit here when we lived near. It's a while since we were here. The meals including gluten free were tasty. The meals were presented well. We will consider eating here again when we're in the area.
I visited this venue for a family reunion.
It is tucked away in a residential area. Small car park. But there is on street parking.
We arrived on a Thursday evening & there was an event on. DJ. I'd say the venue is more suited for drinks than eating a 3 course family dinner The food was nice.
Maybe it was just the evening we happened apon. Busy.
Our waitress was very busy. Forgot a drinks order. But realised & sorted it. Food felt a tad rushed.
If you want a fun vibrant night then I highly recommend. For the over 30s.
I'd go for the party type night rather than with kid's & grannies 😍 Maybe call the pub & see what events are going on.
Location is a walk up a hill from Chine beach.
We live within walking distance of this friendly pub. Good food, gluten free options & an area outside for warm days. So close to the beach too. Great jazz nights too.
Thank you Maggie, Darren and all your team. Delightful gem of a Hotel situated in the very best part of Bournemouth.
Honestly, your people are a credit to you... Paul, Gillian, Denise, Amanda, Guy and anyone else we met.
I would highly recommend your beautiful Restaurant/Pub./Hotel.
Smashing breakfasts too!
Thank you!
Had a lovely and generous portion meal.
The crust on my chicken and ham pie was the best I've had outside my home.
Will go again
Great little place!
Dog friendly, reasonably priced and a 5 minute walk from Branksome Chine Dene.
We’ve been here two years in a row and its a gem. The rooms are variable sizes but not tiny and clean. The breakfast is good and the dinner of a night time is really good. The moules mariniere is spot on. Its almost opposite the slip road to Branksome Dene Chine which is a nice quieter beach.
I think the only critisicm is that the bathrooms in the rooms are crying out for a refresh. They’re clean but really need redoing. After covid, its probably a bit hard to justify straight away though.
Here for the Jazz. There is great music but the Inn in the Park is very busy. They have a lot of old fashioned draft beers and obviously a busy kitchen.
Good food, coeliac registered so very good choices for gluten free diners
We had a meal at the Inn and our waitress Amanda was so attentive. Nothing was too much effort or problem.
It's not the 1st time we have been here/eaten here and will be returning.
Wonderful dog friendly pub. Excellent meal with really good portions. We will be back!
