Huge pub, nice interior with cheerful and helpful staff. Good selection of beers and ciders. Wasn't sure if they were dog friendly since it's gone upmarket, but they were very welcoming with my pup. Sat on the terrace outside, a really nice spot on a Sunny day. Can't comment on the food yet, but nic
This is an interesting pub, with a nice interior and some well cooked good food. As you might expect, the prices reflect the good food and presentation. The pub does offer large screen sport and as we were leaving, numbers of sports fans were arriving for their entertainment.

We heard the roast dinners were fantastic, after a busy day we decided to recharge with a roast and a quiet drink. The service was great, nothing was too much trouble, the food was delicious, we had a chilled afternoon with friends.

We’d heard how good their Sunday lunch is so we went to check it it. It definitely doesn’t disappoint! The meat was beautiful and the veg was fresh and well cooked.The staff are very friendly and professional. It’s a great place to meet up with friends.
Came here for a pub quiz evening which was fantastic fun, we really enjoyed ourselves! Staff behind the bar were pretty unenthusiastic sadly, but the biggest shock was paying over £22 for a double gin & tonic, and a large glass of house rose! Given the prices for normal greenking pubs this was steep
Right next to the Train station. Large clean pub with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Good range of beers, I haven't eaten here yet.
The avocet is our local pub. The food is good and the service is very friendly. We enjoyed a lot to spend our time in there.
The view is very well located in the heart of Ashley cross. It has a good gastro pub menu and standard of food, which is pretty expensive though. It's a good place for Friday night drinks which still separates the diners from the pub crowd at the front. The upstairs room also caters for private part

The avocet is my favourite place for food in parkstone/Ashley cross! Highly recommend the roast beef, the team are very fast and efficient, thank you to Simon, Amy and team. Can’t wait to come back!
This was such a love place for my brothers wedding, the food was amazing and the staff were amazing they put on a lovely spread in the evening and were very helpful, would highly recommend any one having an event there , thank you to all the staff
