Harlees - Poole - Photo album

Had a lovely chippy tea from here. The Haddock was very fresh and the batter was thin but very crispy. Chip-shop chips aren't usually my favourite but these were hot and crispy - nice being able to add my own salt & vinegar too. The homemade pea fritter was also good - I enjoyed the little bit of m
No where else open that is not a restaurant or pub. Tasty fish and chips, but expensive. Had takeaway as upstairs restaurant closed. Nice evening so sat on Quay. (Watch for sea gulls) For 1 large cod and chips, 1 small cod and chips, can of pop, bottle of water £23.95
Lovely chippy! Chicken burger was seriously good as was the battered sausage! Chips were crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside! The curry sauce was superb too! Really good experience, thank you!
When we are in Poole we always plan to go to Harlees for fish & chips. Last time we went we realised they have a restaurant upstairs. The entrance isn’t super obvious - the door is quite small and down the small alleyway on the side of the building. As we were visiting on a wet and cold day it was
Lovely fresh battered fish and delicious, proper chips. What more can you ask for?! We had both the cod and haddock and both were delicious, lightly battered with delicious, fresh fish. Service was also excellent and friendly, however a little tight to have to pay 20p for a sachet of sauce if you wa
You have to queue twice but it only takes 10-15 minutes even for haddock. Service is faster for simpler orders. Too many chips but that's traditional, isn't it?
Really enjoyed the fish and chips, but a bit disappointed that nobody told me how long id be waiting for. Considering they had a queue, it would have been good to get a small ETA. The guy on till was a bit weird to some customers but overall tasty.
I was expecting typical touristy low quality food here, but pleasantly surprised by fresh and well cooked fish and chips. Delicious
The initial reason for choosing here to eat was the seating arrangements on the balcony with a great raised view out to sea and watch the boats and the hustle an bustle of people going about there life below and it made it private for a family. Whilst waiting to order i read some awful reviews and w
We had visitors from abroad and wanted to introduce them to some traditional British cuisine. They loved it and so did we! We've been several times but have never sat in the restaurant upstairs, which had some quirky decorations. The food was great and there was a large number of locally produced b
Delicious fish & chips the best I've had for a long time. Brilliant staff, highly recommended 👌
Food was very good. Service was a little slow but to be expected as it was fairly busy. Difficult to rate on atmosphere as it's takeaway only
The fish and chips here have been great both times I've visited. Had the cod first time,, haddock thesecond and it was fantastic - soft with crispy battery that had a good taste. The chips were also really good, along with the battered sausage and curry sauce. I haven't found anything at fault with
Lovely fresh cooked fish and chips and such a lovely young man who served me, highly recommended
Delicious fish and chips on Poole Quayside. There can be quite a wait at peak times. Lots of places to sit and eat on the Quay nearby.
