Service for us was 10/10 (thank you Elle). Accommodating, friendly and attentitive throughout our visit. The food was spot on (which was a delight as I've been swerving here for a couple of years due to a bad food experience). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and also very thorough with my
This is a Family friendly place. And the food is reasonably priced and good quality. Only thing we found inconvenient and not very good was that the toilets at the rear (close to the beer garden ) the gents toilets were dirty & the toilet cubical lock is broken & the hair dryer. Apart from that, it
Loved every bit of my evening here I travelled from Nottingham for a catch up with friends and I was not disappointed service was good food was good hot and tasty staff engaging and friendly really wort a visit. Thank you.
Part of the Vintage Inns group. Good quality food and choice of drinkks. Extensive menu and lunchtime special on offer. Friendly efficient service ,comfortable ambient surroundings. Premises under refurbishment outside but inside no problem. Plenty of free parking on site.
Great place to go for a Sunday roast! Service is great. We’ve had Chrissie serve us a couple of times now and she’s lovely! Other items on the menu we haven’t necessarily been wowed by in the past but absolutely recommend a Sunday dinner it’s gorgeous and well worth the money! We will definitely be
Lovely time, in a great old pub. Lee was fun, professional & attentive. All the staff were very nice & obliging. Even a call (about dog shaded areas) from Sue, who'd read my online reservation message. The food was delicious. A little too long waiting time, once being settled in with menus & drinks.
We had the Trio of meats Sunday roast, with sirloin of beef, pork belly with crackling, turkey breast and a side of cauliflower cheese to share. It was very tasty I must say and anybody wanting to visit, should try the honeypot dessert.....you're in for a treat! The staff very friendly and efficient
Going out costs an arm and a leg these days and so we don't do it often. So I'm pleased to say that we had a great meal. The service was very professional and we were well looked after even though it was quite busy. The food was definitely a step above the standard pub grub, and its clear that a
Lovely pub. Old fashioned with a modern twist. Lots of room and really well laid out with lots of rooms and alcoves. Dog friendly, great selection of beers and food was really good. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great pub and will be visiting again!
Came here on a beautiful sunny day for lunch! Had a gorgeous beef brisket sandwich with fries (I asked for fries instead of chips) and it was absolutely delicious my mum and brother had the same and we all loved it! Great place for a lovely dinner or celebration for lunch as it is on the higher end
I couldnt order via the table scan service because it wasnt working. Which meant i forgot to use the 50% code i had when i ordered at the bar. Quite a small portion overall for a £21 steak (not enough chips and onion rings in my opinion) the onion rings were not great, barely any batter and over coo
The food was really good. And the service was even better.. We had our little boy with us who is aged 5. The lady who served us believe her name was Eleana.. our little boy loves role play and was pretending to take our orders on his tablet.. Eleana asked if he wanted to take our pudding order on h
The food was exceptionally good and enjoyed by all members of the party. Whilst we appreciated some colleagues could not serve alcohol, it would have been a more seamless customer experience if those who could not take that element of the order could have offered to ensure the assigned table serve
Serving and bar staff were outstanding, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Had roast beef which was a little on the cold side and when iur puddings came the custard was really cold so unfortunately sent it back to be reheated.
Lovely pub however is a little remote from most things, but there is a dual carriageway right next to it which takes you right there! Food was really good and the drinks selection was great. Loads of room for indoor seating and loads of outdoor seating as well. Great big free car park as well!
Thank you for allowing us to stay overnight in our motorhome. We had such a fantastic meal and the service was really good with the staff being enthusiastic and fun. We’ve stayed and eaten a few times and will certainly be back to this great place.
A really nice pub, very decent selection of beers - IPAs, lagers and real ales. The staff were friendly and efficient. It's nice inside and has a massive garden. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a pub meal as much as there. The pork belly was really, really good.
