Went here for mothers day with my mum & daughter as we were recommended by a friend and OMG what a delightful restaurant, staff were really friendly & helpful, lots of choices on the menu even do a quick lunch menu but believe me the small salads & jacket potatoes are huge you won't want anything else afterwards, did not wait long for food, huge portions for the price you pay, will definitely be going back. Wonder what the xmas dinner would be like?

Mum's 60th Birthday. Family get together at Ginali's. Family from all over England. Rochdale, Macclesfield, Nottingham, Devon and of course, Poole. Can't fault the place. Our waitress was very welcoming from the moment we stepped through the door. Unfortunately we didn't get her name. Would have loved to mention her by name. Outstanding service. Food cooked to perfection. Portion sizes well worth the final bill. Majority of our group struggled to clear the plate. 11/10 for Ginali's. Thank you for a perfect meal and a perfect evening. C. My husband and I visited last night for the first time, to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. The food portions especially on our Starters were huge and we ordered side dishes to accompany our Main dishes too! In some restaurants ordering side dishes would be a must as you wouldn't have enough. At Ginali's you don't need to worry about being hungry! I must say my Lobster Ravioli was utterly delicious. My husband managed a coffee but I did squeeze in the Vanilla Cheesecake, which was lovely. Highly recommend. Food delicious and excellent service.

Excellent service, food, location and value. Couldn't fault this place at all. The waitress was very welcoming and friendly and the food was fantastic. Far better than Da Vinci's on Poole Quay. 10/10

Excellent Italian in the historic Barfoot Mansion on the high street. Beautiful shaded courtyard with lots of tables and more inside. The prices are incredible for really good fresh cooked food. Known for their seafood pasta they have great specials which change regularly. The sea bass was excellent, garlic bread to die for and a homemade tiramisu I could have eaten 10 helpings of. Staff were attentive and welcoming. Tranquil and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend this place. Little gem.

Really enjoyed our lunch here - especially the topped dough balls. If it's one complaint then it's that this restaurant isn't expensive enough. Charge more money - you're worth it!

Saturdays are for eating out, especially at lunch. Decided I would check out this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The staff - they were polite and accommodating (even if that guy with his wife who wanted a table of 4 for a party of 2 just to be seated at the window would disagree and quickly left) The food - it is DEFINITELY value for money. If you walk in hungry, you are definitely leaving content with the portion sizes, well priced. We both had the 'Today's Special' - Salmon & Prawns Spaghetti. You can tell it was freshly caught and not pre-packed fish from the nearest ASDA. The atmosphere - it was a little dark, but I guess that's what makes up the whole ambience. Seating closer to the windows, especially in the spring or summer, would complete the feel. Of course, there are outside/garden seatings available, but the weather does not yet permit. All in all, this place 'has my heart' - Vibes 👊😎

Competitive prices, warm atmosphere, great decor, and also greeted with a smile every time. This was bursting with flavour and freshly prepared. Considering the prices, it is the best Italian in Poole, Dorset, UK.

Beautiful courtyard to enjoy the most amazing meal. Highly recommend the scallop and prawn tagliatelle from the specials board. The garlic bread smelled wonderful from the next table and was confirmed as being the best. Hope lots of people visit because it would be a shame to lose another independent restaurant from our high street. Thank you.

Thank you for the lovely meal! The pizza was amazing with generous sauce & meat, I enjoyed my grilled fish and that generous side of vegetables and the pasta was also great. We had starters and we loved those too. The staff were very professional and attentive. It’s reasonably priced, located on the high street not far from the station, the decor was interesting and it’s not cramped. Highly recommended.

It's one of my favourites! Great staff always make the whole experience even better. The chef makes superb dough too, whether the pizza or dough balls, it's always yummy. Lovely building with a very rich history. Excellent value for money.
